NES vs Master System: NES (The NES had a far better game library... it's not even close)
SNES vs Genesis: SNES (Both are among the greatest consoles of all time, but I enjoyed the SNES game library and controller more)
Gameboy vs Game Gear: Game Gear (I never could understand how anybody could bear to use the Gameboy with it's small screen and no backlight. The Gameboy may have had the better games, but the crappy hardware made it unplayable to me)
N64 vs Saturn vs PlayStation: N64 (Most of my greatest gaming memories come from the N64. It was home to some of the most revolutionary games of all time and it was the best console ever for local multiplayer)
GameCube vs Dreamcast vs PlayStation 2 vs Xbox: Gamecube (This is the only battle that is a difficult pick for me. I tend to change my mind quite a bit on if I preferred the Gamecube or the Xbox. During this generation, I think I preferred the Xbox because I felt it brought a breath of fresh air to the console market with it's western influence and it was my go-to console for multiplats, but I feel that the Gamecube's game library has stood the test of time better and I still play Gamecube games whereas I have no interest in playing most games from the original Xbox anymore, so I will say Gamecube, but if you ask me again tomorrow, there is a chance that I could change my answer and say Xbox. The Dreamcast was also great and could have been a contender if it lasted the entire generation. PS2 was definitely last for me this gen.)
Nintendo DS vs PSP: PSP (The PSP was the best handheld ever since in my opinion it was the only handheld that has ever had both great hardware design and a great game library)
Wii vs PlayStation 3 vs Xbox 360: Xbox 360 (The Xbox 360 had the best controller, the best online service, the best OS, the best version of multiplats, it brought indie games and retro gaming back to consoles with Xbox Live Arcade, and it pretty much created the blueprint for modern gaming with it's innovations that everybody else would later copy)
Nintendo 3DS vs PS Vita: Nintendo 3DS (While the Vita has the much better hardware, it's game library is pathetic, so the 3DS definitely wins this one for it's far superior game library)
Wii U vs PlayStation 4 vs Xbox One: Wii U (While the Wii U definitely has some flaws, I have had more fun with Wii U games than I have with the games on the other consoles. Plus, I love being able to play games from the NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, DS, Gamecube, Wii, and Wii U all on this one system.)
