Not new information.... should be pretty obvious to anyone here. as these arguments are made all the time. the one thing I don't agree with is "Steve jobs believes most people don't have to time" ... bulls*it more like the interest. I use a car... but I'm terrible with any maintenance or car knowledge because I simply don't care... and I'l admit that... has nothing to do with time... its not wanting to understand the technology/tool I use..... and that will likely have some consequences for me in the long run.
People can't be bothered to understand the technology we use. while mr jobs lets people not use their brains there are others out there that believe "Everyone should learn a Programming language to understand the future of our race and technology" as a normal taught subject.... its just so huge.... and hard to ignore.... so people spend premium on devices that are limited for the conveniance of not having to learn.
Which is "ok" .... but given the passion of gamers on these forums.... not learning that little bit extra and missing out on amazing experiences is kinda sad.
that video is bullshit. PC gaming vs Console gaming wasn't really thing till a couple of years ago. Before that most people just ignored them even though herms tried so hard to get into every argument by force with their Crysis shit and supposedly bigger library of AAA games that no one gives a shit about.
