looks fantastic

Probably pick up. But the DLC spammage was fairly annoying.

The enemies are fairly inferior to Left4deads variety as well. In Killingfloor, they tend to just come at you in a straight line.
Hopefully they fix this.

I want to see the gore they hyped up in the PC Gamer articles

Flesh pounder will be one annoying creature.

Looking good.

Never got into the first KF, but I definitely want to try out this one.

They named a creature of what I do every weekends w/ hot women.

While the graphics aren't much to brag about, the first Killing Floor is fun as hell, and I still play it often. Definitely looking forward to KF2.

Tripwire does not cater to gfx whores, they deliver awesome gameplay.

For the engine KF was on, it looked very good. Likewise, Red Orchestra 2 has some insanely detailed maps.

I still think KF1 has the best shotguns in video games.

Not improved the graphics? Are you blind? Its a massive improvement over the originals stiff character animations and low res texture models.

I think KF1 has some of the best guns in video games period, at least in terms of how good they feel to shoot.

Maybe I'll play this one.

If that were even remotely true, you wouldn't feel the need to talk about it on a gaming forum.

...how are those two things even related?

#41 Posted by lostrib (33225 posts) -

While I did enjoy KF, and tripwire should be commended for all the support they gave, I tend to lose interest in the co-op only horde gameplay

at least this one looks a little nicer, but it's only UE3

#45 Posted by Wiimotefan (4062 posts) -

I got to work on this one a while back, but never played any of their games.

/loser.

#46 Edited by CrownKingArthur (4084 posts) -

@lostrib: ue3 is pretty damn amazing tbh. supports nvidia apex etc. also compared to UE4, UE3 is quite mature. plus they're probably familiar with it.

apparently the last KF was in UE2. that surprised me.

#47 Posted by IgGy621985 (4602 posts) -

I never played the first one, but this caught my attention.

The first game was a mod at first, right? Which turned into a stand-alone game later?

#48 Posted by nutcrackr (12366 posts) -

I thought this was going to be about Left 4 Dead :(

#49 Posted by AdrianWerner (27960 posts) -

That's not SWAT 5 :)

But yeah, love KF, glad to see it back.

I have to agree as well. As much as I love horde mode type of gameplay, I really wish more devs would more with the mode. Like be able to build buildings, and fortify things. But make it harder. Gears 3 horde mode was fun, but it lacked something. I also wish TLoU had something like a survival/horde-fortify mode as well. But I thoroughly enjoyed the team-based multiplayer in TLoU, very unique among the flood of COD clones.
