I saw nothing special in Witcher 2 compared to other games, And what's Max Payne 3 doing on the list? DX11 was a pathetic excuse to attract PCers attention, Every one had in mind this would be another half assed console port like all R* games.

That Favela level in MP3 was so awesome :D. R* really nailed that one! And it wasn't just "dead" graphics it was also the people and the sounds that created the perfect mood. Really special stuff.Sushiglutton

The Witcher 2 came out in 2012?

TW2 is 2011, but other than that it was a great year for ports to PC. There were some outstanding ports like Hitman, Sleeping Dogs and Far Cry 3.

The list failed with ME3 and Dishonored. Those both look like sh*t technically. Sleeping Dogs is okay, but not amongst the best.

Should be Skyrim with mods is definitely in there.

Planetside 2 has very bad textures, due to the size of the game. But it's lighting is like a damn magic trick and at times will be the best looking thing you ever see.

TC, you should resize the pictures to fit the forum.

Didn't say anything about being technical, though. Just that they were, in his opinion, the best looking games of 2012.

I can agree, they are quite the lookers and look very nice.

Really? I did like the look of it in general but it is very rough at times. Although that map where it's really dark and stuff looks great.

I could never get AA to force correctly in that game.

I had to use SMAA instead.

If The Witcher 2 is included. I'll also include Hard Reset since the Extended Edition released last year. I just love the Blade Runner-sque look.

Mass Effect 3 looked ugly, Dishonored looked meh, Spec Ops looked like a 360 game in 1080p (nothing impressive), Planetside 2 maxed out looked plain ugly and i still don't understand how could anyone call this or any MMO good looking (gw2 looks better than this crap) and agreed with the others

Could be just me, but I get texture flicker, geometry disappearing, shadows disappearing. On an AMD card even, with the beta driver.

You dont really need to specify PC games, it's kinda a given that the top ten graphical powerhouse games are either pc exclusives the pc iterations of multiplats.

Lol, what ? Chivalry is a great looking indie game for sure but it's not close to dishonored technically. Chivalries textures are really bad.
