lol, lack of effort confirmed. Its not hard to allow the assets , settings and options for the people that have the hardware to match and surpass the PS4.
Exactly, unless the game uses different assets on PS4 it's literally impossible for it to look better than it would look maxed out on a PC.
When asked about the graphics differences between PC and PS4 versions in an interview with 2P, Lee stated:
”A little hard to tell you right now because if the PC users know, they will be very angry. PS4 has much better graphics. PS4 graphics quality will be much better and higher than the PC version.”
This can only be possible if they done it on purpose(not incompetence). However this does not make any sense (except if sony pay to sabotage the pc version), so this guy is just trolling, and the ps4 version is going to look and perform similar to a HD7850, just like every other multiplat.
Since anyone who isn't mentally handicapped knows that PCs have the potential for far greater power, and so better settings, than the consoles, this means the devs purposely gimped the PC version. Idiots.
PC doesn't quite have the ram to compete with PS4 you see. The most expensive graphics card on the market costs 2.5X what the PS4 costs and yet only has 75% the ram. That's Why PC excels at linear on rails shooters like Crysis 3 but struggles to play open world games like GTA 5.

i see his point. basically, there's a model of predictive utility. from the tech specs, we can predict performance. therefore graphics should go
examples like this game, and games like fifa 14 are the exception to the rule - but i acknowledge their existence. ps4 is weaker than a proper gaming pc, but it is the world's most powerful gaming console.

Tomb Raider looks almost identical on PC/PS4, and Crysis looks far better on PC its not even close. PS3 is like Crysis on Medium Settings.
Why would a developer say this anyway, all he's achieved is alienation of PC gamers (7 Million +) he's basically said we have not spent any time or resource on the PC port.

Bad ports have been known to happen on all platforms. It's just lazy development. However that being said IMO the vast majority of console ports are better than the PC version simply because I prefer console gaming. I have a gaming PC too but to each his own.

Exactly. I highly doubt this is true, but if it somehow did end up being true it would only be due to the devs intentionally withholding graphical features from the PC version. There are millions of gamers with high end rigs that could run it at settings better than the PS4 version. If those settings aren't in the game it's just because the devs purposely did something stupid.

Yeah, and the vast majority of VHS movies are better than the Blu-ray versions because I simply prefer VHS movies.

Does not matter , just because a system has better graphics does not make it good if it lacks good games , and latly pc have been getting crappy ports and major releases delayed or not even released on the pc. So yes pc has alot of slection of older games ,i
the 3do and atari jaugar were lightyears ahead of its competion at its time in hardware but utterlyh failed because lack of games.

The PC gets more games than any other platform. And I'm talking high quality games. For instance, every year GameInformer does their top 50 games of the year and more of those games are on the PC than any other platform.
The vast majority of games are multiplatform and those games look and play a lot better on PC.
The PC has its own exclusives as well, of course. The fact the PC misses out on a game here or there means nothing, because all systems miss out on certain games. I could give you a long list of games that you can play on PC and Xbox or PC and PS3/PS4 that you can't play on the other console.
