Well you'll be happy to know a new Call of Duty is coming in November! I did enjoy Advanced Warfare's campaign a fair bit.

Tribes: Ascend. But once you've played one of those games, you've played them all. There's a reason why 1990's FPS design is stuck in the 1990's.

Not really. Twitch arena shooters are just a very small sub-genre of FPS games. And they're all pretty damn similar besides some small gimmicks in each. Your statement would be correct if I was talking about ALL FPS games, which I am clearly not.

Though this looks like they're trying to ape Team Fortess 2 which to be fair is a great game to want to rip off.

And what's wrong with liking Call of Duty and Halo? They're solid franchises with proven track records. OverWatch feels more fresh than any of that generic derivative shit you love. There was no game in the 90's like that. And there certainly aren't many games like TF2. Meanwhile CoD/Halo is constantly rehashed and with nothing new.

This game looks amazing...

Tribes Ascend might be a twitch shooter....if so, that's why it sucks....a Tribes is not suppose to be a twitch game.

I have played it a good amount, but I don't think it's a twitch shooter....there's much more aiming going on than in Counterstrike or COD.

But that's not the point.....the point is TA is an abomination to the series.

When it's released, has millions of people playing, massive critical praise, the young people hoping up and down saying potty mouth words will suddenly be silenced.

1. That's a lot of waiting, PS4 currently doesn't seem to be getting most of PC's major titles as seen by MC/GS.

2. Not sure how well a fast paced twitch shooter with this model will work on consoles. They'll probably have to slow it down quite a bit and adjust balance. Furthermore, will it continually be updated or die out on consoles like TF2/CS did?

3. On the topic of PS4 getting major games, I sure wish that system could retain its exclusives as well as PC! It's exclusive list is looking small in comparison. I guess there's always Uncharted.

Wish it has single player..

@-God-: Even if it comes to Consoles it will die soon like TF2 or Counter Strike. Not to mention gameplay that will have to be dumbed down for Controllers. It'll be like moving a tank. I expect this game to sell over 6 million in its first year. It'll be huge success because market is there but everyone is busy milking COD fanbase.

Will get the Ps4 version.
