PC. But I always wait for a sale.
If I ever get a a multiplat on PC, it has to be under $15 on steam.
Depends
I really don't care for playing on a PC so I only use it if there is an exclusive i want to play. The only thing i put any time in on the PC recently is CS:GO SO usually between X1 and PS4. If its an online game, I'll get which ever one I have the most friends on that are getting the game. If its even I take X1 because controller + live, If i have a lot on both, I'll probably double dip on the game. If its single player, I usually go with X1 due to controller and ease of use unless there is a ton of exclusive content for PS4 then I would go PS4. So i guess in short my answer is X1 and my PS4 is basically an exclusive machine or co-op or if I have a lot of friends on PS4 getting it, and my PC is basically CS:GO only and I barely play that anyway.
@darkangel115:
I understand the online reasoning, but don't you think collecting the single player games on PC is a better deal in the long run? (given the lack of backward compatibility on consoles)

I very rarely go back and play old games. Hell i probably have about 20 PC games i purchased in the past 2 years on sale I never even touched (GOG and humble bundle) I'm not a big fan of the steam layout and don't really care for using a PC to game. just a personal preference. Most of the games I have were like man I loved that game 10 years ago and its only 5 bucks, and i buy it then never bother to play it lol Maybe If i had a ton of hours and was bored i would do that, but with 50-60 hour work weeks, a wife, a house, and 2 kids I'm a very busy person and can play maybe 10-15 hours a week at most. And even doing that is me sacrificing sleep.
Xbox because of it's controller and Xbox Live. The only exception is if it is a 2D game with no signficant online multiplayer, I will get it on PS4 since it has the better d-pad.

Consoles are for exclusives, and right now they kind of suck at those.
Depends on what the game is, a first person shooter or something like that obviously my PC. A third person game or something like Shadow of Mordor or Resident Evil, either my Xbox One or PlayStation 4. Honestly it just depends on what environment I would rather play the game or what would be more suiting for the game, lazy on a couch with a controller or upright in my computer chair with a keyboard and mouse.
Last gen two of my closest friends and I all had Xbox 360s, this gen one friend went Xbox One and the other friend is going to eventually get PS4 (doesn't have one yet but will I think when Disgaea 5 releases). I got an Xbox One last Black Friday, partially because it has games on it I want while the games I'd want a PS4 for haven't released (mainly Persona 5, but will pick up Bloodborne for sure, and a handful of indie games not on Xbox One), and I plan to get one in the later half of the year. Plus my friend that wanted the Xbox One actually got one same time I did so we can play online together. Performance is fine, I don't feel like I'm settling for less playing multiplats on it.
I'll probably still get my multiplatforms on the Xbox One, after all the friend that's getting the PS4 will also probably get an Xbox One eventually while the friend with the Xbox One is likely not going to get a PS4. When it comes to games with online features, like online co-op or competitive MP, going for the system that I get to play with them on is crucial. If they'd of both committed to getting a PS4 back when I did get my Xbox One I'd of got a PS4 instead, probably end up getting all my multiplats on that instead, but I didn't.
I used to factor things like controller preference and what consoles my friends were playing on. But starting this past holiday season I switched to all multiplats on PC. I was double dipping a lot and there really was no point other than trophies/achievements. I don't want to play games at 30 fps if I dont have to. And with a rig like the one I built, I should be playing a lot more games on PC.
