Official GS GOTY 2013 - Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

I thought Last of Us should have won. I haven't played Zelda: A Link Between Worlds yet, but I'm skeptical it will get me hooked like the Last of Us. Hopefully I'll get the game by Christmas

The thing I hated about ST was the stupid melodies.

And blowing the DS. Who the hell came with that *****? >=/

Oh also, I hated how the game was literally on rails and wouldn't let you explore. I mean WTF D:

While your average cinematic Triple A titles such as the Last of Us, Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed, and Grand Theft Auto didn't win, you gotta be happy games like A Link Between Worlds still have an place in this industry.

Great to see what looks like a solid game get recognition. I'm hoping to beat A Link to the Past soon so that I can go purchase A Link Between Worlds.

I hope that I like it though. Some of the design choices that Nintendo made, choices that are getting praised, are design elements that aren't necessarily what I love. It would be great if everything resonates well and I view it as a masterpiece though. Love me some Zelda.

Easy win, the game is pure fun

It is more fun to play than all games released the last 10 years combined really and can also be played forever

I play in hard mode now and simply cant stop, it is both super fun and super addictive

It only proves that "next gen" is a fakade, only gameplay and art matters, not fancy engines and polygons per second

Zelda was a "safe" pick for GOTY. I think it looks like a Gameboy Advance game, and could have been made 10 years ago. Horrible graphics. No 3DS game deserves Game of the Year.
