First 9.0 I've seen GS give out in a while. What's this mean though:

If it's offline, then why will it crash if the servers go down?

Man I wish I had a capable rig to run this. I'm currently saving up for a new one but it's going to be about the end of next year before I can save enough to get it. I hoping this looks and runs good on medium settings on my PC, IF that (I'm just above the minimum reqs.....2.4 Quad, 4 gigs, 285 GTX. 8 gig of RAM in the mail but I doubt it'll help much). I am capable of running Crysis though not on high. If anything, FC3 will more than likely still look better than any console version even if everything is not at ultra settings. Lucky bastards.

I think a 2.4 Quad is capable of running this game nicely, and I'm maxing it out with 8GB of RAM so I think the one thing holding your system back is your graphics card. Replace that one and you are bound to see a performance increase. You don't need an entire new system :)

but if you do wait untill next year, the game will still looks impressive maxed out then

I was thinking of getting the GTX 670 for my new rig so I think that'll be a bit overkill for my current one and not worth the $ for what I'll get out of it.

Whats your CPU ? I had a Core2Duo up untill not long ago, my graphics card died on me so I bought an HD7950. I got a performance increase but of course your CPU will bottleneck your system utlimatly. I upgraded my PC in august and put that HD7950 in that one, you can do the same and buy a graphics card in advance of your new PC.

It's better than waiting untill you get all of the money to buy an entire new pc, imo. Of course it was also because my previous graphics card died that I made the decision:P

I'm playing it on ultra settings, 1080P with all DX11 effects except MSAA and I'm having great performance. I have an HD7950, I think that compares to a 670. But I heard you need new drivers on nvidia cards for better performance.

Yeah they said they were dropping DRM. And steam does not mention any sort of DRM

All I had to do was activate my key on Uplay and install(I have retail though, not steam)

All is well then, and I'm too planning to go for a retail copy. Despite DD's constant growth on the PC, I still like a solid copy! :)

Also, yeah, I already have the latest drivers, so I should be good. As for AA, will use that shader suite with SMAA, and all that stuff, so I'm good...
