Indeed, it is crazy, i would pay any ammount for a special edition of that game and i also bought 3DS mainly for it

And turned out that "All the bravest" was a crappy FF game

I just bought the Official BD Guide (480 pages) in Japanese for the art and to have something from the game, 40$ is nothing for such art

I'd rather see Final Fantasy Type O or Final Fantasy Versus XIII instead.

This looks cool though I guess.

Interesting art style, but the gameplay of JRPGs has kind of been dead to me for many years. You are very passionate about this game aren't you? You actually put some thought into a post you made... there might just be hope (but we all know there isn't since I'm sure you still think that 720 is better 1080).

I think the fact that it's only at 1700 hurts its chances of being localized.

On the visual end of things, Bravely Default is easily one of if not the most beautiful games on the Nintendo 3DS. Some titles certainly do an amazing job with the tech (Resident Evil: Revelations), but in terms of art design and execution, I think BD trumps everything else for the platform. The first time I entered a town and the camera pulled back to give a better view of the area, my jaw dropped. Towns and story-related locations are represented through pre-rendered backgrounds with 3D elements, and they make great use of the console's 3D screen. Cities are layered like a picture book, which results in often-times stunning vistas. Every time I arrived at a new continent, I couldn't wait to explore the area in search of some cool looking locale.

I'd assume it means something along the line of "Bravely refusing to change.", but I don't know much about the game, looks better than Final Fantasy, not that that is hard to be. I like the sound of the name "Bravely Default", even if it means something dumb.

I would call it more of an appreciation thread, for getting a game that looks like FF9 after 15 years
