You don't need that much video memory unless you're doing 3D modeling and animation. Modern games won't get anywhere near the limit. If you buy that for gaming, you're doing it wrong. That one card costs more than it took to build my entire rig.

I'd rather get a PS4 for $400 than completely waste $3000 on a card that's going to play the same games as $150 card. PC gaming is overrated as f***. I gave into the hype and built a ~$1800 gaming PC a few months ago and I almost never even use it. I use my PS3 10x as much as it. Console gaming is just so much better.

A sli or crossfire with midrange video cards, 600$, beats ps4 to dust. No reason to buy something like this.

If you saw the conference, you would see this is a high end consumer card aimed for people who want to do simulations and 3d rendering. Not exactly interactive (game) graphics.

@way2funny: most people don't realize titans are more for game making than they are for game playing. They are professional grade cards for people who do 3d modeling and animation. They are capital not really meant for regular consumers but people who use their rigs to work.

It shows how silly PC gaming has become. No need for this overkill GPU. By the time you actually need something like this you can buy a gpu that strong for $100 lol

If you saw the demo they did with a card, it was all simulations. Particles, physics, realistic ocean / wave representations, which is cool and does have uses in games, but not to the extent they showed. They wanted to make a consumer level card that allowed for these complicated simulations. They even demoed how it can be used for machine learning.

If you mean more frames at higher resolutions with almost the same graphic quality then ok.

With 2k i bough and xbox one,PS4 a kick ass PC and still have money to spend before i byte into something so over priced,but then again this cards are mostly for compute and workstations and sh** like that.

Had I not bought Titan last year and Titan Black this year. I would've been tempted.

But I'm sorry my crazy obsessive gaming habit, this is getting too crazy.
