No WildStar hype thread?

I'm too lazy, is there no hermit champion out there ready to make a hype thread for what is the biggest MMO release of the year? or is everyone afraid of Mr Van Ord's crazy MMO standards?

When it gets reviewed, somebody will make a separate review thread, and everyone will post in there. Especially with exclusives.

it's an mmo so i'm not interested. WoW kinda killed mmos for me.

More like no point cause it's gonna get a 8, In fact I'm calling it the game will get a 8.

If this gets an 8 when GW2 got a 9 I call shenanigans .... takes the best of both worlds, has an absolute wealth of content and customisation from the get go... and 19 months of content already to go in stages.

Honestly... unless whoever friggin reviews it crys about the old-style questin... even though that is just a fraction of the game (E.G ... that useless MMO reviewer known as Angry Joe (who loved ESO... speaks volumes...)) then... I give up on people.

It will get an 8 for sure, they don't have the manhood to give another MMO a 9, which is sad cause I do agree it was BS Guild Wars shouldn't have got a 9. If they don't give it an 8 they'll just give it a 7 and call it "well it's still a good score", praise the ever shyt of it and call it a day.

I don't think its about distinguishing in this case. Its just done what most post-mmos have failed to do.... have EVERYTHING on release. 20-40 man raids, heavy movement focused like GW2 only better and actually has the holy trinity. ridiculously good housing system ... even better than rifts.. its actually difficulty from early levels... it kinda takes the genre back to I dunno earlier WoW meets modern movement standards. they havn't rushed release... all features are there... mod support as well so full Wildstar raid logs are already available ect... good custimisation... I dunno there is alot to mention. its a chase of "sum of its parts makes it awesome".

Its developed by key people from the ORIGINAL WoW team. and it feels very fleshed out already.

Off topic.... why the hell can't we resize videos? I miss the html mode....

The fights are incredibly well done, and they are not purely scripted like most MMOs.... its more about reactionary play.

Was in beta, pretty awesome once you get past level 12 or so. Also did a PvP match and while I didn't know what was going on it still was awesome. As someone who primarly plays console games the controls took a whole lot of getting used to and still isn't as good as controllers (mainly strafing being the culprit). Actual control and feel of the characters is alright I just would like better animations.

I plan to do a review from the perspective as someone that hardly plays MMOs but of course that will be in early/mid June when I have a chance to chew on the meat of the game. Also worth mentioning is that for the most part the WildStar community is amazing!
