@blackace I'd say that Fable coming to the PC -- along with this announcement -- is a pretty good indication that we'll be seeing more Xbox exclusives on the PC. Obviously, that only applies to upcoming titles, not "older" stuff, like Forza.
BUT, even if you're right and it's only Fable, I know one thing with absolute certainty: I won't be missing much...

Xbox has a bright future. Adding PC isn't taking anything away. It is adding value.

the value is PS4 owners have to buy a gaming computer, and have windows 10 installed and start using the microsoft shop or else they miss out on 99% of best multiplats and exclusives

we haven't seen horizon 2 motorsport 5 or MCC, or sunset overdrive come to PC yet, and halo 5 says xb1 only so far

I decided to give it time and now I get to benefit. Looks like I'll be picking up a PS4 this year. At least you still have the option of selling your Xbone.

That lemming inside how is PC getting to play xbox one games a reason to not get a PS4.? Last time i check sony exclusives were still only on PS consoles not on PC,it would be one less reason to buy an xbox one,basically playing halo 5 in superior for on PC will kill the xbox one.
@StormyJoe: He's talking about streaming games from XB1 to Win10 PC's. He already said on Twitter that the XB1 would still have plenty of exclusives on it's own. Just because they throw Fable Legends on the PC doesn't mean every XB1 exclusive will be heading to the PC. That's not going to happen.

Also halo has been on PC before. Hell they used Halo 2 as one of the ways to try to push people towards Vista and GFWL, which would be oddly similar to the current situation
PC gamers will be happy that they don't have to buy an Xbox to play those games. It's good money for the company selling on two platforms instead of one. The only thing that could hurt them is lost Xbone sales, but the idea is to gain PC game sales and push Windows 10.

Agreed. I remember when Peter Moore was heading up Xbox and asked before an E3 what he thinks as far as sharing titles with PC. He said something to the effect of the PC not being a direct competitor to the xbox. Now here, that will be scoffed at. But talk to gamers in a gamestop, BestBuy, Walmart sometime. Many don't really care to play on PC. Hell, we hear that in these forums from some.

Sometimes I think I may be the only one that remembers these things. Its obvious that MS really believes this in regards to the gaming consumer as a whole. Whether it pays off or not remains to be seen. Glad someone else remembers it also.

It's funny, my first time reading about Peter he was at Sega, but he blew up with Xbox and his fun GTA and Halo tats at various E3s. He was so popular (at least with gaming fans, haha)! It's strange to think he's at EA now.

Oh wow!!! Yeah! The tats thing was such a great PR stunt at the time. Since he went to EA, the Hockey had its ups but he really quieted down, huh? MS is in my opinion playing a great card business wise. So far, this gen there have been many games that are console EXCLUDING, but on PC. But if those on PC choose the Windows 10 OS, then MS has a business plus on their front. That's the card they are playing it seems. Also with Steambox and its Linux based OS possibly coming, if MS and W10 captures Dev support what do they do? Its a beautiful time for stock market trackers right now.
@ReadingRainbow4: I wouldn't say RIP yet. This could bring a wave of pc-only games to xbox one with the ability to port in a few months instead of a full year. I'm excited about that since I don't play the x1 that often. Smaller studios can now port or co-develop games cheaper without heavy recoding
Sort of a stupid move for a company trying to prop up a struggling console. I get that they are also trying to promote gaming on Windows 10, but they really need to decide which platform they are going to push their limited exclusives on. For me personally I loved my 360, but I really see no reason to invest in an XBone if most of it's exclusives are going to be heading to the PC eventually.
