No love for Splatoon?

A pretty innovative and well-balanced take on team-based third-person multiplayer online shooters, IMO.

Its not so much innovative as it is..... "Why didn't they do this earlier"

anyway the concept sounds flawed but it looks like so much fun.

I am hyped for Splatoon honestly.

I just want to know how are players that don't have the Gamepad going to jump to their friends because they can't touch their icons.

I think it looks really cool. At first I was thinking "WTF is this?" Then, I watched, thought about it, and the idea grew on me.

Doesn't look like my cup of tea and I none of my friends have a WiiU, so playing with randoms makes it an easy pass.

Game looks like its a ton of fun. I'm personally hyped for it.

Could really take off at a 20-30$ price point. Would be cool with online team tournaments like MK. We'll see.

Watch it again, it'll grow on ya'...it's a really cool premise and i can't wait to play it.

but if nintendo sell this for 10-20 quid on the eshop with a view to expanding in later on then it would give it a very good chance. if they charge the full 60 itll be doa though.

Well it's a completely new IP and I'm pumped for that. It looks fun. Would buy for cheap.

Its going to be hard not killing people but you'l eventually get used to it.

I'm not a big fan of multiplayer shooters, so this game doesn't really interest me much.

I watched it and I am totally surprised about it.
Devs love to throw around the word innovation, right?
This right there is an innovative game, not CoD with Dogs and fiish that move out of the waz when you get close (I know, I'm a year late).

I'm pretty stoked about this game, it looks like tons of fun, and it does so without the need for bulky army dudes and HD gore.

I'm pretty glad I picked up a Wii U recently. I never thought I would but I'm really happy with it so far and the showing today made me even happier about the purchase. :)

One of the high lights for me from Nintendo's E3 but it would've been better on better hardware and online service.

Im split. I usually do not care for competitive MP but the style and objectives make me think this will breed more good hearted fun than teabagging and name calling, maybe making me want to play online......then I remember its on ninty's machine, not exactly a recipie for success in the online multiplayer world.

Looks really fun. I like the design of the character models and general idea, and I adore it's art style. I'd definitely buy it. Most shooters these days are dark, bloody and lack color, (like most of the games in Sony's conference) so this is a breath of fresh air.

Reminds of me Team Fortress 2 for some odd reason.

It would've been fine as a cheap digital only game. They hyped it as a cornerstone of the "conference".

I think this will be a sleeper hit of 2015. I'm really excited for this game; the movement system and concept is unique and interesting.

It looks like a lot of fun, but it's pretty basic. Not enough content to justify full retail price.

Most Team based shooters these days don't actually even require you to play as a team. That said, this game will be defined by the content they release. If there is a lot of modes, maps and play options, I think it can have a great long life.

Its not confirmed what the price is and lets say it is actually $60, the game doesnt come out till 2015 so who knows what other content itll offer.

And besides, Nintendo's release dates are always out of wack, "Q1 2015" for all we know, itll probably be in Spring, "3DS Smash in Summer" "October 3"

I'm really not sure what to think of the game.

It's a topsy-turvy shooter that's about just shooting the environment endlessly? Not sure where the fun element comes in.

Will keep tabs on it apprehensively.
