wtf lems on here said it flopped in sales
welcome to the 1 million club last i check thats greatest hit title
how many xb1 exclusives sold 1 mill and some change I wonder
Well lemmings and their "but , but nioh flopped in sales according to U.K. Numbers "
Yeah this is embarrassing for them they said it was behind GTA 5 which doesn't look bad to me based on these numbers being behind gta 5 is actually fabulous
How many copies does a game have to sell to be considered a success?
A lot more than one million lmao, call of duty sells like 20-25 million on all platforms
Do you think Nioh costs as much as CoD to make or has even a fraction of the marketing budget? Use your brain. Chances are Nioh is already profitable.
congrats cows. you finally supported a niche japanese game.
lets see if you do it with persona.
Apparently Japanese cows have already done it lol. Even with the down trend of console gaming there. The successful but sales drop of Final fantasy 15. Persona 5 is the best selling release in Atlus history, in Japan.

there's a difference between supporting a niche good game and a niche dating sim.
@ProtossRushX: Probably a good few considering a lot of the Xbox exclusives are huge franchises. Try to tell me Halo 5 and fh3 didn't sell at least that many.
Good for Nioh. Glad an excellent exclusive managed to gain some ground on the ps4.
Great news! Given the budget of the game it needed to sell about 500k to break even. So it looks like Nioh is another successful exclusive for the PS4.
It exceeded everyone's expectations. Well done.

1M and it is exceeding Sony/Koei Tecmo's expectations so much that it is sold out almost everywhere - they should have shipped much, much more; it would have been even higher. Anyway this is expected of such a great game. I have been spending most of my gaming time playing this game -- it deserves it and more.
I'll post some of my combo videos if anyone wants. This game is a masterpiece.
Nice. It's a great game. I hope this encourages them to make more games in the same style.
I wonder how many sales there would have been if it were multi-platform.
You know how
You've already created a begging thread. Stop doing in this thread!

I read that the DLC for this game will have new weapons and enemies. Add this to the fact that KT have properly done NG+ by giving enemies extra techniques, and I am set. I don't think I need to play any other video games for a while. In fact I rarely have been posting here since NiOh released.
Get a PS4 and Nioh and join the party.

No I didn't , I created a thread with a title , "Will Nioh remain exclusive for PS4 ?"
@the_master_race: Honestly, if you really do want to play this game, just get a PS4. It is worth it. I primarily play games on PC and I got a PS4 after playing the demo and tests on my brother's PS4.
I'm playing this game on PS4 but I want it on PC too
Good, now this new guy can maybe make Ninja Gaiden 3.
KT already made Ninja Gaiden 3 and it was dumbed down. Shibusawa responded by making Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, which is a great fix for all of the problems with 3 vanilla.
Nope, because I'm gonna go with the narrative that Ninja Gaiden 3 never happened, and were I foolish enough to pretended NG3 was a thing, and foolishly rented Razor's Edge through gamefly, I could assure you, all RE did would have done was turn a hypothetical piece of shit, into a sub-par action game that was still fundamentally below what one should expect out of a Ninja Gaiden game. So the notion of it being a "great fix" is a bit laughable, and like borderline stockholm syndrome from how shitty Ninja Gaiden 3 is.
If Ninja Gaiden 3 existed, which of course, it doesn't. Because they never made something so fucking insulting to the glory that is Ninja Gaiden.

My point is that Razor's Edge fixed what just about what could be fixed about Ninja Gaiden 3. Compared to vanilla 3, it could be called great; that doesn't mean that it's like the other Ninja Gaiden games.

And I'm saying were it real, it would still be a pretty bad action game. It just comes out smelling like roses, because this hypothetical Ninja Gaiden 3 was some how supremely shitty even though it never had any business being that bad.

Oh man this is funny. I feel you, my dude.
You know what? You're right. The team that made Nioh should make a real Ninja Gaiden 3

Yes exactly, maybe they'll care as much as we do, and eradicate any evidence that Ninja Gaiden 3 was ever a thing. Or go next level, and say we're done with Ninja Side Story, and make Ninja. Be like this is when we keep it real this time.

success is a word that can have a lot of meanings, profitable can be one of them, but I doubt that was the case here

You are inclined to doubt Nioh made them money against the backdrop of KT releasing free content updates and giving away items in the game thanking people for exceeding their sales expectations (of those which usually forecast a profit); just don't be surprised when people call you out on your fanboy vitriol bullshit.

whatever , 1 million is poor in sales.

what? no...
persona 5 sold 550k in japan....that's close to trash.
atlus never sold a game in japan that sold more than 500k? lol atlus sucks.

Alright so 1 million is the new standard for the forum. Once a game sells more than 1 million, it sold great. Even though it's much less than for example CoD, or FIFA, 1 million is a lot, and when a new game sells 1 million copies they did good.
