What the f*** could it be that costs that much?

Time to get cautiously hyped!

Probably a working, hollow, solid gold Gameboy original the size of a house that will become Iwata's new home.

Must be a calculator with a number range big enough to calculate their losses.

It's probably for that QOL device they are creating. It's most likely a company that specializes in QOL products or tech related to QOL.

well, that accounts for nearly half their fiscal losses in the 2013/2014 fiscal year, maybe they're not in as bad of shape as people have made out, they can easily ride out a $100 million loss/year for the next 2-3 years when they want to release a new console/handheld, that's not much of a price to protect the companies reputation for supporting their products even when they're in a slump, and who knows maybe they can salvage something respectable with the Wii U, I can't imagine losses can exceed where they are right now

They should be buying up studios too, cuz lord knows 3rd parties don't give a shit about them.

Sadly, probably something that has very little to do with gaming.

#26 Posted by StrongBlackVine (9467 posts) -

More gimmick controls.

They're buying Sony.

100 million dollars? Yawn. That's peanuts in todays gaming industry, I guess Reggie wants a new body.

Probably a QL related item. $100m isn't that much to pay for a company these days.
