Sheep am cried.
You could fit a lot of killer game announcements into 30 minutes though.
Unfortunately that's not going to happen.
Good, what else do they have to show anyways? its just the usual mario and pokemon.. Mario swimming contest? lel
will be sad if true..then again, hope there's no Iwata bla, bla bla-ing please understand crap..if they just get on showing games..if X ends being a 2015 that will be sad too.
Good. Once they have a better hardware that's when they deserve more than 30 minutes at E3s.
this is the truth.. cmon nintendo pull out all that big wii money and make a real next gen system
Please Understand....
but wtf 30mins? Why even have an E3? Hell most people already agreed last year that nintendo doesnt need to (and in their current position, really shouldnt) have an E3. They can announce whatever stuff they need to announce in other ways, announcements dont need events.
Watch the entire conference be done in the same style as tomodachi life.
Everyone waiting for new zelda footage, metroid, some new IPS.
And it never comes. it's just ends abruptly with some massively bad karaoke. expect a solid 10 minutes devoted to a new mario party of course.

No, most people don't agree to that. If they did, Nintendo wouldn't have been commonly belittled for not having another conference again.
Just fire lwata already.
Why is every console company just in crash and burn mode when it comes to delivering anything people actually want or making anyone happy.
Just disappointment after disappointment.
Interesting. They have three days worth of doing stuff, maybe they're planning to do quick announcements, and do in depth coverage throughout E3 and give certain games their own time slot. For example, an unannounced 3DS game is getting 90 minutes of coverage.
Or maybe it will be a fail Direct.
Time will tell.
This could be great? The amount of self glorification and monotone mind control stuff in the average E3 conference makes them a bore to watch. MS will probably say TV and EXPERIENCE over and over again. And a lot of talk about how they work so hard, and are so proud, and we know you want more shooters. I know I'm not going to watch theirs.
I don't trust Nico Nico since they were wrong before and the digital event may mostly be used for announcements only. They probably won't show super long game trailers and they may leave the explanation part of whatever games they show to the other Nintendo related E3 events.
After reading through that GAF thread, I'm seeing stuff about how that could just be some placeholder time, could be rounded, about the treehouse show and how Nintendo has 3 days planned, etc.
Also, its not exactly impossible to have a nice handful of megatons within 30 minutes if that timeslot IS true. Wasn't the Direct a year ago or so that announced X and Yarn Yoshi just a little above 30 minutes?
That's not to say Nintendo might not still have a lame direct (whether it be 30 minutes or over an hour; lord knows Nintendo, Sony, and Microsft have had longer conferences that were mostly dumb), but I don't think this update from Nico Nico is necessarily something to worry about.
lolnintendo.
Are they even trying any more? Bless their little hearts.
Can't wait until ninty are back in their stride and actually have a huge press conference next year. It's been a while since the big three have clashed rather it being the typical blue against green duel.
Well the hype is now pretty low.
As it should have been when it comes to Nintendo events like this. It boggles my mind on how people were continually disappointed with whatever ND/E3 related to them bar a few years (such as 2010) and yet still hype them to high heaven.
No surprise. Nintendo have not been relevant to the hardcore console gamer for 10 years +.
I want them to pull something out of the bag but unfortunately if what they pull out of the bag isnt a competitive, reasonably powerful console then Ninty wont be seeing my money for another decade.
Wow, Nintendo. Blowing away your only shot.
There is a thing called a teaser if you have nothing in real-time to show.

Honestly, they should keep it that way.
Apparently, this is a mistake- Nico Nico also listed the Smash Direct as being only 30 minutes long, and it was 43 minutes, and that is likely the case here. Apparently, anything less than 45 minutes will be listed as being 30 minutes long, because Nico Nico only reserves time in 30 minute chunks.
For comparison, Twitch lists the Nintendo Event to be 1 hour long.
I can name about 4 games for wii u thats planned for this year and no third party is maoing no games for it so really all they need is like 15mins
As long as 25 minutes of that is spent announcing Luigi's Death Stare, a new action-based Luigi game, I'll be ok.
Nintendo should just show a Luigi Death Stare compilation video, announce a Wii U bundled with Mario Kart and a price cut, then dim the lights. 5 minutes max.
