Yeah I highly disgree with that. Most Nintendo fans are 25-30+ years old.

The only gen that Sony has even had a semidecent first party lineup is this one. I'll take a Playstation any of the three gens over the Nintendo console due to overall libraries but actual first party? It's Nintendo no doubt.

Sony by a long shot. Nintendo literally has no games I care to play. I grew bored with Mario when I was in my teens, Zelda has always sucked, never care for Donkey Kong, Pikmin isn't anything I care to play, Metroid isn't half as good as other FPSs I can get on other systems. Nintendo over uses their IPs to the point of boredom.AmazonTreeBoa

There aim is to make money and people buy there games by the bucket load so yes they are.

I kinda feel the opposite about this.

I know for sure, Sony is one of my least favorite developers/publishers out there, and that they produced some of the worst games I have ever played such as Uncharted and InFamous.

Hopefully that changes soon. To be fair, across handhelds and consoles they are not too far apart for me. MKDS, MK7, SMG, SMG2, Pushmo, and others are all fantastic games. I just wish they could get Zelda and Metroid back to glory.

Yep. A few of them died...but still, they were Sony studios when they existed. On top of the Sony studios still around of course, like Bend.

Sony didn't develop any of those. Sony makes really smart and risky investments in new talent, while Nintendo has the best in-house talent.

I honestly have to say, without Square and the like, Playstation wouldn't have been as successful. Naughty dog wasn't as popular then, insomniac too. While those companies made good games, the most heard of games on Playstation were Final Fantasy, Grand Theft Auto, Resident Evil. PS has always survived off of Square, Capcom, Rockstar and such.

But to answer this poll, Nintendo is king of the first party games. They don't rehash them like so many seem to say. Lets see, 7 main console Zelda titles over the past 25 years. And yet these same people who say this aka half my friends, have been buying every call of duty since 2005... thats 8 CoD's in 7 years.

Not that CoD is a sony property, it was just to get the point accross to the people who say Nintendo Rehashes.

I also don't get the argument that nintendo has no games that appeal past 18? I'm 24, and still enjoy Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Metroid and the rest. Little big planet karting looks more targeted towards kids than Mario Kart does.

I'd also like to add that another reason that I enjoy Nintendo games more than Sony's is that they tend to have much higher skill caps on them. Nintendo's games always provide something that really push my gaming skills to the limit. That's an aspect that I feel all games should have and that sony's offereings don't really give.

It kind of makes me laugh that "kiddie" games like New Super Mario Bros. U and Donkey Kong Country Returns offer much higher levels of challenge than any of the "mature" games Sony released on the PS3. Makes you think... LOL

Would be interesting to see Ninty's take on the sim racing genre.

Back in the N64 days they had F1 WGP and WDC but after that nothing, really.

So MK and F-Zero may be their best racers but it would still be interesting to see what they could do.

Then again, a 2nd rate GT/Forza clone probably wouldn't appeal to noone...

Nintendo. Mario Zelda Metroid are just so awesome. Sony has a great 1st party though, for sure.

sony went the easy way this gen, farming 3rd person & FPS... even MS try harder with franchises like fable, banjo & kazzoi nuts and bolts etc
The ONLY GAME I enjoyed in my ps3 before I sold it was Infamous 2... almost forgot one of the best games this gen!! Uncharted 2, thats all
