Nintendo is the only console maker providing free online.

Plus:

No online requirement.

No used games fees.

No restricitons on lending games. 

It feels good to be a sheep.

They are the only dedicated traditional console maker really.  Unfortunately the hardware just isnt up to many peoples standards.

But I have a Wii U and I'll be getting a PS4, so I'm set!

Tell me when it works.. The only wii game I played where it worked decently was Mario Kart.  SSBB was utter disapointment.

The only games that the Wii U have going for it in terms of online play is smash bros and mario kart and thats it. Im sorry but it would be an insault for them to even think about charging for online support with such a piss poor weak library for online gaming. As much as I respect nintendo for trying to be unique they really just arent up there at all with the xbox one and ps4. It does not have anything that good going for it right now and it would take a lot just for me to even think about getting a Wii u because it seems as if the Wii U is just last gen

Its still a plus at least that I won't have to pay a fee for monster hunter. I can get behind that.

Too bad 3rd party support has been atrocious for generations.

If they still had great 3rd party support, Nintendo would always have the best console.

You can keep it, the only online games Wii U will get are piss poor ports (like last gen) and 1st party titles.  Then again, that's the only reason to own a Nintendo product anyway.
