I got a 3DS XL, and a Wii U, so i guess I will be watching this. Do they usually only show new unannounced games on this? I want to see Mario Kart, I'm really looking forward to that next year on the Wii U.

No, most of the times they show more footage of announced games, but they usually end with a surprise announcement.

Unless it's like the January 2013/April 2013/June 2013 Nintendo Directs, when they just say **** it and announce everything new. EVERYTHING NEW.

They're going to say stuff like "Buy The Mario & Luigi 3DS XL Bundle before Year of Luigi is over!"

and they're going to give you release dates of Professor Layton Azran Legacy, Layton X Ace Attorney and Bravely Default and make a special mention for those in the uk.

They MIGHT talk about the New Persona game for 3DS.

They'll tell you to go buy Windwaker HD and Pikmin 3 and the DLC for it and then tell you about their upcoming game Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and remind you that Cranky Kong is a playable character.

They'll give you an update of Smash Bros. which will just be stuff we already know about.

They'll give you a Release date on Mario Kart 8.

They'll talk about Wii Sports Club and probably announce the "new" game modes.

And they'll give you a 3rd Party Montage of Spring 2014 games Which will be mostly Indie Titles.

They WILL NOT talk about Bayonetta 2, Fire Emblem X Shin Megami, X, Yoshi's New Island, or Yoshi Yarn.

Well so far my tally is Zelda ALBW, Pokemon X and Super Mario 3D Land for the 3DS

and the Vita was a bundle so it comes with tearaway (wanted) and LBP (didn't really care)

Think those are a pretty good start and after that I wanna get the MGS collection for the Vita and Bravely Default for the 3DS but maybe later when BD is cheaper and I finish the others

Pretty great choices so far. I'm about 95% done with the staggering amount of content in LBW, was quite disappointed with X and Y (luckily, you haven't played other Pokemons, so you won't notice) except for its stellar online play, and Super Mario 3D Land was so damn boring I didn't play my 3DS for months afterwards (again, if you haven't played the masterpieces that were Galaxy 1 and 2, you won't notice).

Tearaway's demo was fantastic and man oh man, am I gonna enjoy the full game. Don't look away from LittleBigPlanet Vita either, it's easily the best in its series.

Well I hadn't played a Pokemon game since Blue so yeah, it's a pretty big change. That and I barely even know any Pokemon after the first 150 in the original, well 151 counting Mew :P

Mario hasn't arrived yet so I can't say anything about it, I just needed a good on the go quick play session game

My Vita should arrive tomorrow so I'm stoked, I already have PS+ for my PS3 and it's one of the reasons I decided to jump at the Vita cos I will save on games.

The social aspect of the Vita is pretty great. Otherwise, its OS and general software feels like a low-end smartphone OS from 2007. Get ready for the worst keyboard ever also :P

Like everyone said, the backwards compatibility of both systems is an absolute godsend. If you ever want to use my account btw to test out some Vita games before you buy them, just holler.

I'm REALLY anticipating E3's Direct (which is again what we'll have), especially with the Zelda reveal as Iwata's going to undoubtably use his incredible level of enthusiasm and ability to convey excitement to get us all riled up. Plus Ive always desired a hi-res SS.

Anyone want to make a wager on how many apologies and understandings we'll get? Delays also?
