Well this is interesting... [Source]

IMO, Early access is stupid. Game testers get paid, and now these companies are trying to spin game testing onto the public for free. Save themselves money and make this stupid idea feel like something we gamers should be lucky to have. They are taking advantage of a new generation of naive gamers that are willing to waste their time on unfinished games sans pay. In fact, they want you to pay them.
I don't want to pay for access to unfinished buggy games, I'll just wait for the finished product (which is usually buggy also, but hopefully less so).
They already have experience in that field with the release of Splatoon.
Badum-tish
I don't expect much out of this really.

mmhmm, with the way the new hitman sounds, publishers have found a way to do early access without even calling it early access to take advantage of suckers.

Pretty much how I've always felt about early access.

I bow to your wisdom! :P
I dont think Nintendo will do this, it doesnt fit to good. Blizzard does it best, if they can go off that, then it would be sweet.
I'm sure it'll have as much support as putting Wii games on the Wii U, which only amounted to three games over a short period and that's all she wrote.
Early access to what? they have no third party devs.
Exactly what I was thinking unfortunately. What are they going to have early access to? I mean true enough Splatoon basically is a full priced Early Access game but is this supposed to only be from Nintendo developed games? The WiiU wont have ARK, it won't have The Forest, it won't have Elite Dangerous, it won't have Star Citizen, it won't have Battlefront and the train keeps on chugging.
I'm not against them doing early access but you need to have 3rd party titles on your side to really do this kind of thing.
