Really really good advert. Reminds me of the brilliant early 360 advert (that got banned); that was also similar stuff, but wqith hand guns :D .

The new tagline though: Jump Ahead, I preferred Jump In from the 360, but whatever,

lmfao at the chick watching star trek. idk why but her accent cracked me up. other than that, pretty decent ad.

Would have been better if they used games instead of actors. Guess the console really doesn't put games as a priority.

I get where you're coming from, but its only a 90 second commercial. The commercial is focus on the a scan of the things you can do with the console. It served its purpose. There will more focused commercials that highlight particular games, etc later.

They can always do what sony did and show a bunch of multiplats and pretend that that the pc isn't the best place to play those games.

Love this ad. One of my 2 favorite ads for the next gen so far. This one and the battlefield 4 ads cause those commercials just makes me want to play that game more and more.

Its an advert. Its purpose to raise awareness and build excitement.

They used plenty of games (Titanfall, Fifa, Forza, Ryse, DR3) in the advert. Thinking an advert that just consists of gameplay is good is exactly the reason why you don't work in the advertising industry.

LOL someone needs a hug. I buy consoles....not brand. MS just doesn't impress thus far with what they've put out and in fact made a negative impression on me with the next gen. I have both of their other consoles.

As for adverts as you call them.......for a gaming console I want to see upcoming games. THAT is what gets me interested in a gaming system.

Thats you, you're one person. Most people use their consoles mostly for media services now a days, not just games.

I games console is a games console, pretty sure they are primarily used for gaming, perhaps with netflix, etc. on the side. At least over this side of the pond, not sure if it's different over there in the states.

The ad was great! Makes me want Titanfall even more. That Skype call answer during the soccer game is just one of the reasons I want this box.

Ever since COD did that one where average people were shooting each other in a war zone. We now have cut and paste crap like this.

I much rather see them do unique trailers like what they did for Halo games, Fable 2 and Gears.

When you buy a console, YOU ARE buying into a brand whether you realise / admit it or not. And unless its a commercial FOR a game, then no it should not just be a montage of gameplay.

You like interruptions when you're gaming? I hate that....takes me out of the atmosphere of the game.

when the average joe's PC is capable of running any of those games and/or they know how to update and upgrade their hardware (and most people will have trouble with FAR more basic tasks on the computer than that), then you'll have a point.

That was to show kinect gesture functionality, she was looking through the movie selection then said launch star trek. I guess pausing on another film then saying launch Star Trek, may have looked a bit odd.
