So I hear, it's going to cost around $30 to $40. it's wireless and works with every game the Pro Controller works with.

Day one buy whenever it comes out. I hope it has lots of colors....Just don't make the buttons, etc, crappy.

LONG LIVE THE GAMECUBE!!!!

No go for me, looks neat though, but i just like Nintendo controllers. Nintendo has this quality and feel that is unmatched. I hope the Hyperkin is good though, i like the ideal.

I agree. But..You don't see stuff like this often. I like unusual things.

I avoid 3rd party controllers. Every single one I have ever bought has been garbage. Those look cheap. The buttons in particular. I love the idea, though. The Gamecube controller is the most comfortable one I have ever used. I even got an adapter so that I could use it with some of my PC games.

I like what I see. But I want a variant without the c stick nub. I want a full analog stick there instead. Otherwise I am very interested.

Something like this? It's a shame that kickstarter didn't work out.

@YearoftheSnake5: I actually prefer the pro controller feeling, and this looks like they altered the shape of the controller so its not the GCN controller shell. It really does look like a hybrid. I like what I see here, but I didn't really feel that other controller.

Is it me or does Nintendo now have more controller types than they have games now? This is a no buy for me.

In before people realize that the reason why pros use GC controllers have more to do with the fact that it's wired and thus, less susceptible to lag.

lol aren't you the one who is a big proponent of the wiimote/nunchuck control scheme? Nintendo tries to move on but everyone keeps dragging it back to the gamecube.

I really cant comprehend anyone liking the GC controller OR the N64..It just boggles the mind..AND im not alone. Me and my nephew talk about this all the time. Its part of the reason we both cant stand playing NIN games. WHy not follow perfection and copy Sony and MS?? WHY? I guess its the same reason the dont make better games and get 3rd party support. They simply dont give a da&*..

I like what I see but nah, I have never heard any good things about third party controllers that were not licensed by Nintendo.

Yep. Beyond that, I prefer the pro controller over the Gamecube pad anyways.

I don't understand the hate for 3rd party controllers...Hori made some great controllers back in the day for n64 and Gamecube. The original N64 controller is shit in comparison to a makopad/superpad. Maybe in recent console generations 3rd party pads haven't been so hot, but it's definitely not universal that they're bad.
