If you truly value graphics above all else, you can always build a PC. If you don't want to go through the hassle, you can pay a small fee for the vender to build it for you. Even better, get a friend.
The only reason why you would want to get a console is for the games, not because of graphics. Right now, the Wii U has some fantastic games that are already out now.
They're supposed to release another Mario Kart 8 bundle, though this time with no Wii remote or wheel, and no extra free game (from the NSMBU, Wind Waker, and Pikmin 3 picks), but it does come with Nintendo Land free, also $300. That to me seems like a better pick.
I liked Mario 3D World though, I liked it about just as much as NSMBU. But I like Mario Kart 8 more.
$249.99 with Mario Kart 8 and I might be game. The Wii U isn't worth $300 even with a game included. I still don't like the idea that this console doesn't even have a decent HDD. 32GB's of storage space in 2014? LOL

$249.99 is the magical price for what will be nothing more than a secondary console that only gets Nintendo games.

There is enough content available on the system to justify $300. There are almost 20 retail exclusives, and lots of other games on the Wii U.

I don't want to pay $400 for a PS4. Not when there are only a hand full of games I actually want to buy. However, I'm buying one anyway for Tearaway, The Order: 1886, Bloodborne, Mortal Kombat, LittleBigPlanet and others. Why? Because there is enough content that I'm interested in for me to enjoy my purchase. Do I wish the PS4, (and/or Xbox One) had a price cut? Yes. Most of the games coming out are not worth buying a $400 system for, IMO. But To each their own.

300 for this ? No way lol... Thats the good deal ? Considering the low end hardware and the fact that Wii U has MAX 2 years before it fall into life support ( exactly what happens with Wii ) i would consider it as a good deal if it was around 200$ or less

You really have to see Wii U as a hardware and not as software. What you actually buying is hardware. You cant say " It has great games so its price is ok"... No its not. Hardware wise that piece of junk shouldnt had more than 150$ to justify its hardware. Its so low end for 2014 that im speechless when people calling it good deal. Its a fair deal at best for Nintendo. Definitly not good though.
na. Xbox and PS4 are the kiddie consoles. Adults know better than to get raped by companies like that. Build a pc for those games. Buy a wiiu for the console play.
honestly looking at the release schedule coupled with the fact most of the games out and coming out are cross Gen ports why Aren't we complaining about that 400 to 500 consoles,that doesn't have much in the way of games,compared to the wiiu

I primarily play on PC lol. I never said it needs a price cut because of graphics. Graphics aren't that important to me. What is important are games. I don't feel $300 is a good deal for just Mario and Zelda titles. I would literally only purchase MK, Smash, and Zelda, so the price needs to be lower for me.
Still too rich for my blood. The WiiU has been out for nearly two years now, and it's still 299USD for a reasonable starter bundle. Erase a hundred dollars and you'll have a better shot at capturing more of the market -- especially if you can do so before the end of the year.
Can they just make a $500 NSMBU/LU, DCKRTF, MK8, SM3DW, WWHD, Pro Controller bundle and get it over with already? I'd love a slight discount on the games/things I know I will be buying with the system.

I'd buy it for $129.99. A bundle like this, and hell I might even go for $199.
