[QUOTE="ruleklw"]i wish they would. more competition = lower prices and more innovationsukhvail
i wouldn't say so- more exclusive games, more consoles you want to buy
That true. I cant imagine a new console having to many exclusives. Maybe thats why there are none.God i hope not. Apple really sucks bad and can't do anything right when it comes to real performance. They just know how to make things look nice and cover up there mistakes.Nugtokayeahhhhh, their music player... ohhh what is that called again.... the iPod? yeah, that thing is the worst ever, it only sold a handful. Apple can't do ANYTHING right
i wish they would. more competition = lower prices and more innovationruleklwno more competition lead to more exclusives and less people a kind of game online because they play on a different concel online.

I think more competition and more innovation. Lost Planet, Dead Risings, and Gears of War wouldn't exist without the 360. It didn't start by Capcom making them then deciding to put them on the 360, it started with Microsoft coming to them or having them see the 360 and think of the best games suited for it. I say welcome to an Apple console! Same if Square-Enix, SEGA Sammy, or Dell want to make one too. More competition= More exclusives in the making, more exclusives= better use of the hardware, better use of the hardware= Better Game Also= More strategy involved, which=innovatation
[QUOTE="Sedin44"]Why not it could be called the i...hmmmm i.... someone help me outRandom__Guy

Yes it does. Do you think that Sonic and the Secret Rings, Opoona, Dragon Quest: Swords, Red Steel, No More Heroes, Elebits, or Dewey's Adventure would exist without the Wii? No offense but I find people complaining just being selfish. You don't HAVE to buy the console jeez. The more forms of gaming, the better. I think there should be many multiple consoles, to appeal to multiple gamers. Right now there's 360=PC Gamer Wii=Fresh Air Gamer PS3=Tech Nut And that's it Where's the Arcade Gamer? *Fighting, Shoot-em-ups, Beat-em-ups* Epic Gamer? *RPG's, Action Adventure, First Person Adventure. 2D action adventure, think Castlevania*' Classic Gamer? *Platformers, Sidescrollers, 2D games* Mainstream Gamer? *Sports, Third Person Action, Extreme Sports, and First Person Action games* I can go on and on. The way I see it, the more competition the better.Other name ideas: iPlay iArcade iConsole iPadAdobeArtist
[QUOTE="LoG-Sacrament"][QUOTE="Dencore"]Actually Square-Enix has shown interest.Dencorei hope not. i like playing mgs and ff on the same machine. I'd be happy. More import games coming to the States, and it will be region free. *Seriously you can't tell me it won't* i still wonder how many "dirge of cerberus" type games there would be.
iPlay...hmm...Apple's always into new territories(iPod, iPhone) so maybe Jobs will get Apple into the game industry. Apple without Jobs is like a gamer without any games. iPlay sounds cool. You know. "I Play...iPlay!"The game controller should incorporate the click wheel in some way for the games, and of course can be used for navigating system menus and the iTunes music library. Damn if Steve Jobs ever gets this off the ground and does call it iPlay, I BETTER get my royalties :D :D
It sould have possible iPhone connection and definitly iPod support and the ability to put on songs, full versions of iTunes and iPhoto and more. iDVD sounds like a good possibility and maybe even Dashboard.
Games, meanwhile, should have the following:
Great online play(Just like Pippin)
3rd party support (Unlike Pippin)
Cool online service with digital distribution. Maybe AirPort Online perhaps? iTunes should be on that with movie trailers, web service and the works.
Heavy support for iPlay from Apple. I wanna see what Apple's guys can think up of.
...That's all I can think of at the moment.
GEMINI_CYBORG
It would fail harder than the Gizmondo. Only the most hardcore of the hardcore Apple supporters (You know, the people who like buying overpriced technology.) would buy it. Knowing Apple they'd charge insane amounts for it's console and call it "easier to use".

I'm wondering how many Star Ocean, Final Fantasy, and Einhander type games there will be. Bring on the Square-Enix console!
3 video game consoles are enough, a company wanting to enter the gaming hardware biz now would be suicide.*exerting force grip* I find your lack of faith very disturbing.... oh wait... aren't YOU supposed to be the one doing that? :|
