New Mario Kart 8 trailer looks amazing!

This may be the game I get a Wii U for... :D.

You can't really do much with the art design of these games when it comes to graphical fidelity, so it looks great. I can't wait to see a new Mario Galaxy game.

Nintendo has an obscene amount of money, 18 billion i believe--they are nowhere near going out of business. And, i specifically stated that a turnaround may not occur with wiiu.

This is probably the best looking next gen game I've seen. The fact that the blue shell can finally be turned off really seals the deal.

Like what exactly. The only game you're going to name is TLOU, which is a terrible game in addition to not being fresh, new, amazing, or GOTY.

Must be because unlike the vast majority of companies that constantly regurgitate trend riding garbage, Nintendo games are actually good and stand out as bright, colorful, unique games in a sea of third person cover shooters, military first person shooters, and open world mediocrity.

But I didn't like Mario Kart Wii's and 7's Battle Mode layout through. It is plain terrible in comparison to DS'.

You're right. It is very different. Last of Us came out last year and you can find it anywhere, while Wind Waker is a rarer game Nintendo had enough integrity to wait a decade to re-release and give it a remastering that was actually substantial. ;)

I think it looks great the only problem is it's a Wii U game and I wouldn't get a system for just 1 or 2 games given its price tag but it seems more interesting than the new Smash Bros does.

3D World looks nice, but imagine if they put this much effort or go even further with a full blown 3D Mario for Wii U.

Looks great, but I really wish they would finally show us some of the battle mode. Nintendo screwed up battle mode in both Double Dash and Mario Kart Wii, so I'm really hoping they finally recapture the greatness of Mario Kart's 64's battle mode again in this Mario Kart game.

Yup, it has that Nintendo charm all over it, looks really good in HD.

If you think those screens you posted look better than MK8 you my friend need glasses. MK 8 has way more detail than those wack ass screens you posted. The rainbow road pic for MK8 has more detail than all those three screens you posted combined.

This is what MK8 would have looked like on the 360 and PS3 right? Not quite, MKA13 runs on the Namco System Enhanced System 3 which is most likely significantly more powerful than PS360, and Mario Kart 8 completely wrecks it.

They probably won't do it until the holidays.

Mario Kart 8 wouldn't be able to run on PS360 let alone Arcade GP DX13.

Look at colors, AA and textures. Looks bad on Mario Kart. So much jaggies on Mario Kart you blind fanboy

I hope you're trolling because the PS3 and 360 can most likely run Mario Kart 8 with reduced effects and at a lower resolution/framerate

Only negative I've seen is the blue shell. Other then that MK8 looks like it'll destroy its past iterations.

You can turn off items in MK8. We can all rejoice. :P
