Agreed that the main character looks like a douche, I liked Cole even though he was bland, made the game concentrate on the fun and the story elements.

It use to be 3 months. Did it change to try and make Sony look like they actually had games for a new system????

And I really don't understand the love for this game. I have played both pervious games and they are good for sure but not something I would hang my hat on as a must have.

The thing about Ryse is that it could have been a good game, not a great game because Crytek lacks the skill to make one of those, but a good game. I think there was some pressure and nudging from MS and the heads at Crytek to release the game on launch day. In fact I think Crytek was willing to skimp on content and quality for the sake of releasing on launch day. If they had just held back and taken an extra 6 months or so, I believe they could have made something that was half enjoyable to play. So just by not releasing on launch day, Sucker Punch already made the right choice. Not to mention that Sucker punch is a pretty decent development studio.

Games on multiple platforms = multiplatform.

Sony's best franchise by a long shot. I hope it's at least as good as inFAMOUS 1 and 2. The only thing that bothers me right now is that they haven't shown anything about the series' unique stamp on the superhero genre: the morality system.
