Wow, can't wait for it. I enjoyed FFXI a lot but could never subscribe.

It's also a good idea to note that this is a very early build of the final game that will be release, wether that means upgrades in the interface or downgrades is still to be seen.Jynxzor

Also good to mention that that in the video it is played by people that this is their first time ever touching FFXIV so the combat looks off because they have no idea what they are doing.

I grinded a year and a half of my life away playing 11, I'll pass this time around.

The only way I'll buy a MMORPG is if it's a Tactical RPG.

I noticed the player wielded his sword even when not in combat.

He also didn't seem to attack automatically, as if he was waiting to use his specials. Is this not turn-based like XI? I'm also glad to see you could hold your own against multiple enemies. I hated in early XI where you had to stop and rest every 2 enemies.

Looks cool but the PC needed to play that might be a beast...Toriko42

Looks like an absolute borefest tbh. Same stuff, just a different skin.

FF14 will most likely have a ridiculous amount of competition with Guild Wars 2 and Diablo 3 launching around the same time, should be interesting.

Although I seriously wish square stuck to turn based off-line games, gave ff11 a try and fell asleep trying to get into it, the story centric gameplay it attempts to achieve is impossible in a MMO environment imo.
