Throughout several years I loved my wii. From what I considered a minor inconvenience, kind of became a big problem. I once thought that if someone became down on their luck, how would a gamer enjoy their wii if the wiimotes suck the battery even after its shut off? well this year I was the person down on his luck. Ok no internet for a while at least i still had my wii, wii u and ps3. well my motes were sucking the batteries that drained limited funds. Maybe the wiimote was a bad idea due to that very reason. I loved the games but it feels as though i was still paying for the wii over and over due to buying more batteries. Cant enjoy a console if you cant play your games.

I hope I dont get flamed because I am a huge intendo fan. I just feel that wasnt thought about through enough.

i have acquired the habit of taking out batteries when im not using something. too many neat things ruined by gross battery build up. a really good shaving thing i had fell victim to exploding batteries. it hadnt been too long since it was used either. suddenly the inside of your battery case has a beard and the contacts are lost.

of course there are plenty of rechargeable options for those things. some rather reasonable as well.
