Unless there is another way to get into the beta that im not aware of like pre ordering Reach or winning beta codes online, i dont see how MS math adds up? ok ODST is the way you get into the beta, ODST sold 2 million copies but yet Aaron Greenburg recently said "Dont be suprised when the Reach beta gets 3 million gamers" even if ODST sold 3 million copies, that would mean ALL 3 million ODST owners would have to be in the beta.. Oh and im in the beta BTW and think its extremely fun and satisfying, I will say though that im very suprised by the low amount of people i see online playing. The most ive ever seen online at once is 162,000, most of the time though its under 100,000, very strange.
ODST sold more then 2 million. Also 100K+ is alot of players at any given time considering the only games putting up similar numbers are MW2 and Halo 3.

True but still, its the way he worded it. I highly doubt that many have played it, first of all MS would be bragging by now about the amount of times its been played and the most ive ever seen online at once time is a little over 100,000
You can play with upto 3 people per xbox signed in as guests. A lot of sites gave away codes a few days before the beta started. Heck, Bungie alone gave away like 10 000 codes a couple days before the beta!! ( I still didn't get one :cry:) BTW, you claim to have played the beta, would you care providing your gamertag to prove it since you're username is a little suspicious?
Link other than VGchartz.. I could have swore it was first 1.5 million then MS later confrmed that it was 2.2 million or something like that Sold more than 2.5 million in 2 weeks. Four million is very likely.

ODST sold 4+ mil.
And a mere 150 thousand? Why so few! Dude... the only games that put up those numbers are MW2 and Halo 3. I honestly don't think any other games currently have similar numbers, PS3 or xbox. So the BETA of reach is alreayd one of the most popular games out there, when not anybody can join the beta.
But yea I'm LOVIN halo reach. I dunno why, but I tend to do really well (well going fairlypositive) in the grab bag games, when I am pretty bad at FPS's on the 360. Maybe i'm getting better, but reach was working for me./

I thought that ODST sold about 4 million copies? Anyways, you can rent it and still play, that's what me and my bros did :). Some people got codes too so it makes sense that 3 million people could play...
hate to kick tc while he's down, but he forgot that there were all of those early beta codes given out to thousands before even the odst owners got in.

I noticed this happens a lot on here that someone says something crazy with no proof at all and then they say others should have to prove them wrong.
