Not like, on the move gaming, but mobile games. We shit on them, don't we?

I've been getting into it. Haven't been very successful. I'm playing Galaxy On Fire 2 right now. Looks good. I like mining. And it's free.

Besides that, got a PSP emulator, and I'm playing Person 3 Portable. That's alright. Soundtrack is good, as expected from these games.

What about you? Do you care? Do you think it's rubbish or lolworthy? Share. Also, if anyone has some fun android games. Drop 'em off. I'll check 'em if I can.

Mobile gaming. Thoughts. Now.

I play Tetris sometimes and if I'm really feeling crazy I'll fire up Bejeweled.

Love it. Try The Last Door: Collector's Edition. It's a pretty haunting game. I probably play more mobile games than anything else these days.

Don't get offended, I'm on Android. Is the game you mentioned available for that? I'm used to Xbox/Playstation/Nintendo Wars, but Android versus iOS is completely lost on me.

Not a fan of mobile gaming myself, but it's sometimes great for light games when you're waiting to board a plane at an airport though.

Developers who tries too hard putting heavy games e.g. GTA San Andreas into the mobile market, that's when I facepalm. Leave mobile gaming to light games like Angry Birds and Sudoku.

mobile gaming is the future, it reminds of mac shareware games or pc gaming in its prime

new games were around every corner you had every niche taking care of

you had new games coming out every 5 minutes a new one was up

a regular gamer should love it , its just so many games and can play them anywhere

ipad gaming android gaming is amazing right now

pc wish it got as many games as this same with consoles

mobile gaming = the new big deal in gaming

its like the nintendo DS mac shareware pc in its prime

this is gaming folks get used to it this is what the mainstream wants

Heh, no worries. Looks like it is. It's not the collector's edition like the iOS version, but it'll still have plenty of good, haunting game. Play it with headphones.

Terra Battle, Asphalt 8, Galaxy on Fire 2, Terraria, Radiation Island, Heroes of Order and Chaos, World of Tanks, and Dark Echo are good, too. Radiation Island is crazy.

A touchscreen by itself is a way too limited way to provide input in a game imo. A touchscreen together with buttons (DS, WiiU, ...) can work, but a touchscreen by itself, no.

Every game I've played on mobile so far feels so limited when it comes to gameplay, as it has to adjust to limited types of input, that I have absolutely no fun in those types of games.

I always rather read something or do something else on my phone than game. Gaming is for on my handhelds, consoles or PC.

Fan of the word jeesh, are we?

For me, can't stand it. Usually it's a race to see what new methods can be used to get money out of consumers, and many of the more revered games end up being crap like Monument Valley.

Plus my phone is for consuming media and communicating with friends and family. Its battery is dedicated towards that. Could be worse though, could be an iPhone.

I like it. It's my Belgian-to-English word. Genuinely surprised word.

Yeah, for now, I'm digging the emulator side. Simple stuff. But it's a tablet, so I'm not exactly calling around. I bought it because... It's stronger than my phone, so there's that.

Despite loving to play Pokemon on my GameBoy Color back when I was about twelve years old, I've come to find portable gaming to be tacky and lacking the ability to immerse me in a game's fictional world.

You'll need an android phone in order to properly play video games on mobile, seeing that there are peripherals such as the Galaxy Gear Gamepad, the DualShock 4 mount for Xperia phones, I could write an entire list. Heck, we even have those shady Chinese phones with integrated gamepads.

Personally, i'm interested in getting an Android myself for things such as the gZdoom android port (yes, you can put Brutal Doom on your phone)

I've bought some games like Five Nights at Freddy's 1 and 2, Colin McRae Rally, Worms 2 and 3, and Bard's Tale. Of course I also have many of Angry Birds games and Plants vs Zombies 1 and 2. I tend to stay away from games that seem more interested in just taking your money.

Hey, Gamespot actually let me post after I retyped everything.

Vita :'(

I came so close to buying a PsVita TV the other day, but I don't want a gimped experience. I know it's impossible for that device to support all the Vita games properly without the touch/motion stuff, but damn... I was close.

If it did, I would've jumped on it. Honestly, the Vita doing bad isn't all rain, because it'll be so cheap at some point, I'll just jump on it. And I will.

Fair enough. I might check out Colin McRae. I love that.

Anything action-oriented is pretty difficult to make fun with touch screen controls.

Yeah, I'll keep it on my radar. My brother used to have one. I used that quite a bit, and loved it.

Yeah, I agree with that. Mobile games need to be catered to mobile controls. Emulation alone shows you the limits of it.

it sucks ass.

well technically i'm sure there have to be good games but i'm not going to eat a giant pile of shit just on the chance there is a peanut in there someplace.

i just buy books and movies for my phone then i'm sure it will be something i will enjoy for the tiny amount of time i ever do entertainment things on it.

I've played KOTOR and bastion on mobile among others... Theyre ok I guess... Minecraft on mobile is cool.

Its not situational for me. I almost never take my phone out to play a game waiting in line for my turn at the DMV (for example). if I hear about a good game I'll download it and try it like I would any game.

I don't tend to gravitate towards them, but I like that they exist... I just don't choose them a lot, because if I'm playing in a small screen situation, I'm taking OlliOlli 2, or rogue legacy over any mobile game 99 out of 100 times.

Its a shame there aren't any good rogue-likes built from the ground up for touch screen controls. The genre really lends itself to pick up and play.

I played Chrono Trigger on mobile(pls don't hit me. :p). But yeah one of the best games I've ever played. As for pure mobile games, I like the AI factory games which are super addictive. Also super hexagon is one of my favorite mobile game.
