Microsoft said developers all want to go multiplat so why is Nioh / Nier / Bloodborne exclusive?

Phil spencer doesn't make any sense.

He told people that devs want to put there thing on everything to make more money but these titles keep ditching the xbox one since its not worth it for them to put it on xbox one.

The guy needs to explain why devs are ditching the platform or refund us our xbox one for ps4's.

If they come on PC thats fine but some of us bought an xbox one and didn't buy a PC Phillip Spencer.

FYI Neir is not an exclusive and is multi plat.

Bloodborne is a Sony owned IP. They just contracted a 3rd party studio to develop it. The others are exclusive because Xbone is non-existent in Japan and the Western audience that buys Japanese games is on PS4.

Bloodborne is owned by Sony so that is why that game can't be a multiplat. The developer releases their Dark Souls games on Xbox since that franchise isn't owned by Sony.

Nier is the type of Japanese game that would never sell well to the Xbox audience and I'm sure that you won't find many Xbox exclusive owners that will care about not getting this game. The type of audience that likes this kind of game is on Playstation, so it wouldn't make good business sense to put it on Xbox when the audience on Xbox doesn't really care for this kind of Japanese game or else they would have bought a Playstation instead.

Yeah, Nier is a multiplat. So why isn't it on Xbox? When Xbox can't get Multiplats and don't have their own exclusives either, that seems like a problem to me.

There are 2 people that own an Xbox One in Japan, so they won't get those Japanese titles.

Bloodborne was funded by Sony and its owned by Sony. Nioh is published by Sony in all regions except Japan.

Why didnt microsoft publish it in USA? Same with kingdom hearts 2.8 why didn't microsoft step up and publish? There missing too many big hitters for me to own just an xbox one too many games ditched the platform but are on sony ps4 id have just been fine iwth only a ps4 this gen

People on Xbox only play shooter, racing game and RPG like Skyrim/Fallout because of the first person view.

There is no place on that system for Japanease game.

With the ClosedStation 4 and 720pStation Pro only relying on Uncharted/GranTurismo/Killzone games with milking it to the end of the galaxy, seems no gamers want games.

For games that "weren't" contracted by Sony, it does make you wonder why Nier isn't on Xbox, and why Nioh isn't on PC?!?

But the fact is, PS4 does have the most total sales, meaning there is more customers and is the strongest console. When Xbox gets the Scorpio and has the power of PS4, and the sales get into the 30-40 mil, I'm sure Xbox will see more exclusives.

But don't hate on Xbox not being in Japan, they banned GoW4. I mean that is unfair, if Japan sales is key to Japanese Games.

Rare Replay & Halo 5 are the legit Xbox One Exclusive games not on PC. Since Rare Replay is the only & I mean only, my favorite X1 exclusive game on the console, it's the reason why I still own and keeping my X1, I love Rare Replay.

They are Japanese developers who release their games in Japan first. Because XB1 didn't sell well in Japan, they don't want to release their games on it. They really need to release their games on the XB1 in US and Europe. That's where they would sell. Bloodborne & NiOh were made with the help of Sony, so it will only be on PS4. Nier could easily be released on XB1, since it's coming to PC. I think Phil is talking about developers in the U.S. Most U.S. developers want their games on every platform. Japan developers are a different story.

Devs want to go multi platform that's what Phil is saying and the list of game you mentioned are not exclusive because the devs wanted to release them on one platform but because the publisher like Sony paid them to make it locked to one platform. What Phil said has nothing to do with publishing deals. He specifically talks about devs. You guys clearly don't have comprehensive skills. Learn the differences between "what a developer wants" and "what a publisher wants."

There is no market for these games on XBOX. Makes no sense to take your time to make that version.
