Microsoft moves E3 Presentation up to Sunday

So I guess now Sunday is Xbox day, Monday is Playstation day, and Tuesday is Nintendo day?

Microsoft must be in a hurry to get that Scorpio news out.

Typical MS strategy. They want to get all the cancellations out of the way and hope that people forgets by the 3rd day.

I don't know why they keep going before Sony. Sony keeps owning them on the reaction and they are giving them that chance again.

Well it's either that or get completely eclipsed by Sony even before presenting anything. I guess it softens the ridicule a bit.

Anyway, what a surprise to see all the usual PS fangirls chirping away... the Scorpio worry is palpable.

Smart move. 10pm for Europe 11am eastern and 2pm Pacific. The early 9am conference on Monday was bad for Europe as most people are at work that time. And was very early for American viewers.

If Sony does not move its conference to Sunday. MS will have most of the headlines for over a day or more.

Let's just hope this years E3 2017 will be something amazing, I just want to see what's the fuss over Scorpio is and why should I give a damn. Discussing Scorpio on a Sunday before the main event is a smart move by MS so they can spend a full day getting everything out the way before the big show starts.

Also I want to see more on PC Game Show, trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, and so much more coming from Sony & Nintendo.

Sony's E3 for the last three years has been terrible.

They had one that focused on PSNow and PSTV, one that talked about PSVR and one that talked about Shenmue kickstarter and FFVII remaster. Half the games they show trailers for fall off the map and are never heard from again.

How cows think Sony has better E3s than MS is beyond me.

Sony got faceplanted so badly last year they changed their program and ditched talking about the Pro all together lol. After the E3 Scorpio announce their own execs didn't even want to talk about the Pro at the Sony conference ???

Sony's only good E3 was 2013.. when they unveiled the PS4.

Since then, they've been pretty subpar.

Should be an excellent presentation. I'm so hyped for the Scorpio and I'll bet we'll see some amazing footage of Halo 6 and Forza 7 running on it. Will probably see some form of what Gears of War 6 will look like on it but that game likely won't be ready until Fall of 2018. I'm sure we'll also see some great looking third party stuff as well and hopefully some new first party surprises too.

Sony fanboys need to get over themselves they only 4 games reveled at last year's e3 all of them were not even that great

What do you expect from the Sony Fanboys. True gamers enjoy all of the reveals and get excited to see what every company has to offer. It really is a shame most people on this forum are dumb ass fanboys and not TRUE GAMERS!

Big entertainment events usually happens on Sundays and MS having a full day on the first day of the week is an excellent choice especially since this most powerful console is shaping up to be a big event. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony will "leak" something the Friday prior to try slow down any MS guaranteed momentum though but I don't think it will be enough. MS will shower blessings that Sunday. #GreatnessAwaits

This is awesome! Now I don't have to watch it at work. I can watch it at home on my 70 incher. Not to worried about Sony's presentation on Monday, as they will probably just announce more studios that they are closing.

not really. i mean sony canceled showing the Pro after MS released the scorpio info. Plus MS conference is when most people are at work (monday morning) while sony's is when most people are home (monday evening) shifting to sunday allows them to broadcast when most people are home not working.

Yea Sony got owned bad last year but they're in a good position to have a nice E3 this year. A 28 million lead in console sales almost guarantees that Sony will at least have a descent E3.

Hopefully MS brings some Heavy hitters. I would like to see a Banjo platforming game, Shangheist brought back and a Perfect Dark 3rd person spy game. Would also love to see another Blood Wake and Kung Fu Chaos. MS owns so many nice I.P. but they need to do something with them. Not sure what Phil is planning but so far software-wise MS has been slacking in 2017. With Scorpio a console aimed at core gamers coming around the corner, right now is the time for MS to release some of those IP's stuck in the closet.

IDK I'm expecting to see sony have a lot of the same games as last year. not to mention no new hardware for them to announce. I think the focus for sony's e3 is going to be VR heavy and giving more info on already announced games (death stranding, Detroit, spiderman, god of war 4) throw in some DLCs and 3rd party stuff and indie stuff. I'm thinking the only new game we might see is whatever sucker punch is working on. we already know what the rest of their big studios are doing

How long has it been since they announced the ff7 remake? When is that coming out? Oh it was the same year they had a developer on stage ask for kick start money....

Because Sony focuses on games. Gamers like games. Last E3 they murdered M$ by showing games and the current game libraries are a testament to that.

That was 2015 both games still not out or have release dates in sight. I believe everything Microsoft showed or announced that year has been released (except sea of thieves)

M$ is worse. Sony at least has a constant stream of exclusives coming. Cows already got around 5 this year in one and a half months.
