Microsoft loves PC gaming (yet again)

Microsoft is committed to PC gaming. Like, totally.

Well spencer has been doing a great job with the Xbox brand so far, keeping his word on everything he says as of late, so i believe it..

A lot of big talk, but nothing to show for it. They can prove it by making proper Mechwarrior and Flight Simulator sequels.

Spencer said the same thing early this year and since then Microsoft has used their most valuable PC IP to make a crappy mobile Clash of Clans-clone and paid Square Enix to stop them from releasing new Tomb Raider on PC. So yeah, total BS. The guy might be trustworthy when it comes to Xbox brand, but he obviously isn't when it comes to pcgaming

I'm guessing there's more X1 / PC shared titles this gen than there was last gen since they, like all regular gamers out there couldn't care less about the SW metagame and they just want satisfied fans and for certain make more money, it's the name of their game.

They? Microsoft didn't make, publish or fund Titanfall. They were just to cheap to pay for canceling/delaying the PC version, a mistake they didn't repeat with Tomb Raider

Well yes, of course, I should have worded that differently. I suppose it's not being cheap though since to cover the potential loss of PC / 360 sales may have been a mountain of cash too high for even MS to consider making it an X1 exclusive. :P

Eh, we know TR is nothing but a timed exclusive. just to give X1 some early sales, it'll come to PC I'm sure.

It's hard not to love PC Gaming when PC gamers outnumber xbox one users ten to one.

Hopefully Microsoft is putting the MCC on PC in 2015. That would be great.

The whole reason Insominiac went with Microsoft is that they let them keep their IP. Ratchet and clank has always been a Sony Exclusive, along with resistance.

Actions speak louder than words and MS has exhibited little interest in promoting Windows-based gaming. The Xbox platform is what validates the department, PC-gaming be damned.

I hold out hope MS will do something to convince me otherwise - putting Xbox content on all MS platforms would be a good start.

It doesn't matter insomniac owns the IP now. There's literally nothing to stop them from asking MS to publish it on PC.

Also they released an IOS/Kongregate/Facebook title in 2012 called outernauts..... so the waters are starting to be tested

Also there's nothing to say Insomniac would have to handle the port themselves.

Not mention it's now easier than ever with both consoles built around x86 architecture.

I think this is more about QB though than SO.

The game fits really well on a console and going to PC which is a different kind of feel it just doesn't seem to fit for me.

That being said of course MSoft could publish it on PC I just think this has more to do with other games that seem to fit the PC profile.

I have no doubt in my mind QB will come out on PC no holds bar.

There have been tons of games that "fit better" on a console that just end up on PC it's just the way the industry works.
