Microsoft insider is dropping bombs on GAF!

Some things mentioned. : Halo 2 remake, Horizon 2, white Xbone, new IP's this year. Lots of unannounced Japanese Games, Crackdown 3 coming, Rareware properties getting revived. I can't copy and paste on my phone so if someone could do it (Halo 2 thread) I would be grateful.

I'm gonna sound like a hater saying this but that doesn't sound exiting at all. :/ though a new IP always sounds interesting.

• No Crackdown 3 news this year most likely, since it's a 2016 title.
• A list w/dates of the rest of the Tier 2 and Tier 3 countries that Xbone will release in this year.
• No info/idea on what Rare's up to, sadly.
• $399 XB1 this year? "Maybe one without an Optical Disc Drive."

I dread an all digital gaming age. MS should know console gamers didn't want that by now... however, at $100 cheaper it would probably sell well.... makes my stomach churn.

I guess you cant stop the inevitable... but I sure wont support it. I will however continue purchasing physical media and physical media only from MS if they go that route. Why? It just doesn't sit well with me. I don't mind purchasing indie titles as download only because I understand they have much smaller budgets.... but there is absolutely no excuse to not at least have an option for established studios.

I can't imagine them releasing a disc-less console... sounds a bit off to me.

As for the rest, definitely sounds plausible. I didn't think Halo 5 would release this year, it seems too soon since H4. As for Halo 2 HD, I'd be happy with that while I'm waiting for H5.

It's a system that can't buy used games. It's perfect. What wouldn't surprise me is if it becomes the normal SKU as they phase out discs.

Also the kind of games they absolutely need to re-release, make Xbone bundles with and put on the 'amazing' upcoming 2014's lineup. Lets fill our lineup with old shit cuz why not!?

if Halo 5 doesn't come out this year, wtf is supposed to be the biggest title of X1? A multiplat released in Q1 and then wait 2015 for something? This is as pathetic as WiiU from 2012 through 2013...

I still can't see it happening... not yet anyway. But if it does happen (that they try and phase out the disc-based SKU) it won't take long for me to be a complete PS gamer... that's for sure. But again, I can't see it happening.

The Halo remake could be good i guess, the rest well...

Strong 2014 overall for the X1 but 2015 seems to be pretty much just Halo and Fable as it stands.

Also Forza Horizon in 2014? MS are really milking that franchise cash cow.
