MGSV much superior on PS4

It seems the gap between the consoles will become even more apparent. MS should just start over, X1 is not worth the money. Great time to be a PS4 owner :)

Wonder how big the gap will be when DF get their hands on it.

While I do believe there may be some differences, I need more sources before I jump on any bandwagon. I expect the PS4 version to edge out a victory, but I'm not sure about the gap.

I think the fact this game is on PS360 won't be doing justice to the PS4/Xbone versions in any event.

Yeah, cow circle jerk for sure, but come on man. I'm sure the difference is being greatly exaggerated, but I'm also sure there is a difference. You can blame Japanese devs all you want, but these are two consoles with similar architecture and one just happens to be more powerful than the other.

And besides going with large sound files to eat up the Blu Ray with MGS4, I've never known Kojimas team to be bad with optimization. I mean shit man, they have a history of pulling more juice out of consoles and handhelds than most devs.

Just curious, were you saying the same thing about the PS3 when it was coming up short on it's multiplats at the start of last gen?

I've been hyping this since I first saw the reveal trailer on September 1st 2012.

Their new Fox Engine is ment to be able to ease the graphics quality down, with just sliders i believe, so that it can be just brought down to ps3/360 level graphics, Thats what they said anyway, i mean i know it won't be as simple as that, but this is there new graphics engine for the next few years so i don't think it will effect it in any way

Lol, seriously the power gap is there, and hopefully the new SDK for the One starts improving things, but there will never be graphical paraity between the systems. Games quality however, I take the One all day every day. But this game is 90 minutes long no matter where you buy it and it wouldn't be bought by me if it was 1080p, 60fps on the One, which it obviously isnt.

The Xbone is the PS3 of this gen when it comes to multiplats.

My friend, use some logic here. A HDTV alone costs $500. A pc monitor can be picked up for $70.

My Full 1080p HDTV cost me 200 euros... and everyone has an HDTV already. Nice try but fail

Lol, really? I already stated there will never be parity, but both consoles will improve. For the extra $100 on Xbox One I get features I want like the voice/motion control, Xbox Fitness, and the exclusive games I want. If the PS4 multiplats are superior in terms of resolution and fps, but the One still produces them at a quality level I am trading multiplat superiority for Halo 5, Titanfall, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Killer Instinct Season 1 and 2, D4, Forza Horizon, and Gears of War 4. My extra $100 is for all of those things and they are of value to me. If all you intend to do with your console is play multiplats period, buy a PS4. But I want the all in one features of the One and its exclusive games. Hence making the $100 worth it in my eyes. I respect if you feel different, but this is no damage control at all. Its simply what you value. I dont give a rats ass about resolution and if the fps is steady, I'm good. I care more about the game itself and arguing over who has the better version of a $40 dollar game that is 90 minutes long is stupid as ****. Good day.

Go to digital foundry then, there's plenty of examples for you, Tomb Raider, CoD Ghosts, BF4 and so on. Not like the difference between multiplats on X1 and PS4 is uncommon now is it?

Anyway these should be the main headline imo, you should all be expecting the PS4 version to look better than the X1 by now anyway.

All looking positive towards the gameplay, i'll be spending hours trying every little route i reckon. The cutscenes sound good too.

@shawn30: exclusives are subjective. unfortunately you, history wise regarding quantity and quality of exclusives, sony has always had the better first party.

That's opinion at best, and certainly not mine as it pertains to Xbox One and PS4. If Sony has better first party games then where are they? I think the Order18whatever could get me to buy a PS4. Maybe. Uncharted won't. Infamous wont, although I like the game. Driveclub won't. First party is BS as a claim cause however a company gets a game on the system of my choice (first party, third party, moneyhat) I don't give a damn so long as I can play it. Come on man just say you prefer what Sony offers, but don't act like the One doesn't offer a ton of stuff overall. It may not appeal to you, but it does to me.
