Can't wait to see more of this game though. I can't believe how excited I'm getting for this game. It's exciting me in weird ways - ways that only a few other games and a cluster of beautiful women can make happen. This game is literally now near or at the top of my most anticipated games list. Thank you, @ConanTheStoner for making this happen.

In case you're behind on news, here is something that may floor you. All the prior MGS games are a mere blip in comparison to just a single map from MGS5.

@ConanTheStoner: Did he say 300x larger than the map of Ground Zeros? I have not yet played GZ, but if its entirety is only even as big as the Shadow Moses location found in MGS4, that's still pretty stupidly massive for an MGS game.

EDIT: my favorite part of 4 was the old guys fighting. LIQUIIIIID!!!!! SNAAAAAAKE!!!!! yeah, I'm terrible. But you know...

Kojima has been quoted as saying 200 times bigger and 300 times bigger. So it's a bit confusing right now. Ground Zeroes isn't huge by any means, but it's a sizable chunk for sure. MGS4 Shadow Moses is actually a pretty good comparison.

Yes, it's going to be ridiculously big... but it also follows a mission structure similar to Peace Walker, so I'm sure much of the map will be put to good use... plus we have helicopters, tanks, jeeps, motorcycles and fucking HORSES lol.

Kojima said his biggest worry for this game is that many people may not finish. It's going to be packed with content. I believe it too since you can easily get 80+ hours out of Peace Walker and that's just a handheld title.

I can't wait to laugh at how utterly stupid this story pans out to be. MGS4 nearly collapsed under the weight of Kojima's incompetence as a writer, the things he's going to need to pull here to tie this mess together are going to be pure hilarity to witness.

The last trailer really emphasized on the sandbox. This one here is just focusing on some of the story i guess. I didn't want it taking a step backwards.

Good trailer, although, don't think the music suited it as much as the E3 2013 one. :)

I like the serious mature style they are using in the game this time around.

Still can't get used to the new voice though, I hope I will be able to at some point.

Oh it's definitely still open world. They showed an overhead portion of the Afghanistan map the other day with all the previous MGS game maps overlayed to scale... and they were just pitiful looking blips. I posted a video of it earlier in the thread.

There will be a 30 minute gameplay showing, but I think it's closed to select media.. hopefully we'll get something though.

Of course MGS fans everywhere are trying to decipher what it means in regards to a release date, but I really don't think it goes that deep.

Then again it's fucking Kojima, who knows?
