MGS V: Kojima removed from final box art

In konami's continued idiocy of ditching Kojima, it appears they have removed his name and the Kojima logo.

I don't care to be quite honest.

The game will be fantastic, and homeboy is still in the credits. When they take him out of the credits I'll be like "wow that's shitty", but his name not being on the box? Who fucking cares.

And apparently I've already purchased Kojima games without his name on the box. So I'm cool with it.

Pointless and will do no good for all the effort to make a point, everyone knows Metal Gear is Kojima's work. Konami can not and will not get positive PR for the maneuver.

MGS:GZ, which had Kojima on everything throughout the game obviously =/= MGS:PP

They may infact remove Kojima from all initial into sections of the game and put his name in the fine print scroll section of the end credits. High bet on this being the case.

Anyone who knows anything about the mgs series already knows who the face behind the games is, whether his name is on it or not.

and on that note: why wouldn't konami capitalize on kojima's name and reputation? It will instill confidence in the userbase to have his name plastered all over the game.

Mgs is going to go down the drain without kojima in the future. Much like ninja gaiden did without that perv, itagaki.

I really hope Kanomi hasn't made major changes to this game to hit as many boxes on a check list as possible to make share holders happy. I want a kojima game not a Kanomi game.
