Looks like it's 3DS > PS4 > commoners as far as games go.

And Japan loves handhelds confirmed to the max.

And The Last of Us outsold Hyrule Warrior's first week when it originally launched last year.

Thread title's reaching either way. Shoulda just gone with Youkai Watch 2 or left the thread to Char.

Well... The WiiU has a higher install base, so there are more potential customers.

The truth never needs backup. Hyrule Warriors > The Last of Us.

On a side note, Japan needs some genetic diversity. Too many non-beneficial mutations creeping through their dna causing teeth like that.

Come to think of it MonsieurX, you are actually truly unbiased. You call it how it is for every fanboy be it Sony or Nintendo. Thats's good.

Is Charazard the sheep king? I was beginning to think you were the most severe case of sheepitis on SW. You are like 99.9% bias to Nintendo. Char tends to sway towards other platforms. Definately pro Nintendo, but he atleast has some prefrence to other systems. You are just lost.

Hyrule Warriors sales drop off is massive for a game that's just launched last week. And you should compare original TLOU sales to Hyrule Warriors as it's more fair.

According to sales figure details revealed by Media Create, The Last of Us sold 117,465 copies in Japan during launch week.

http://www.gamepur.com/news/11300-last-us-japan-sales-figure-are-impressive.html

So there you have it - a brand new Western IP outsold Hyrule Warriors, an insular Japanese game, in its launch week.

Nice to see the WiiU doing better even if it is a little or only in Japan.

as for me being lost...i actually feel that i see the light.

if anything it says Last of US sold more than Hyrule Warriors did for the week, total sales though Hyrule Warriros has more, but it has been out longer

Wii U though is selling okay, not great but okay, better than PS4 anyways

Well if it makes you feel any better, you are probably the most severe sheep on here that I've seen. I like PS, but not like you like Ninty.

But ya, Char tends to just post more than any body else so what do you expect?

Sure, delude yourself all you want, but it won't change the fact Hyrule Warriors is selling horribly - 84k to just 15k in only a WEEK after launch! You can keep bragging how a Western game sold poorly in Japan though.

Don't know what side your on but better articulation of what you mean might be better. For instance, if you wanted to really spin numbers, a better approach would be to compare first week sales of Hyrule Warriors to first week sales of Last of Us Remastered, then you could claim Hyrule Warriors did better, even add the time of Hyrule Warriors released coincided with nation holidays that typical game sales are much lower, and yet still outperformed Last of Us Remastered... but I'm not saying that, but you could have. Better than just saying "Hyrule Warriors > Last of User" and then post latest week of data that shows otherwise. Others could argue Hyrule Warriors is more tailored to a Japanese market while Last of Us is more tailored to a Western market, and all things considered it did pretty good first week in Japan.

Anyhow, and I actually have Hyrule Warriors pre-ordered myself, can't wait. Haven't played Last of Us yet and considering I"d wait until I picked up a PS4 just to play the best version.

Not saying you're wrong but the last point you made is not really good since there is a massive difference between the current Wii U install base in Japan and the PS3 install base in Japan during the launch of TLOU. Again, you're right but.. there's a massive difference in install bases so it's not necessarily indicative of a greater interest in TLOU than HW.
