Mass Effect = 8.5

I was wondering if anyone else felt the same?

I mean...Knights of the Republic and Jade Empire both were scored 8.5 and 8.4 respectively...

I know people tend to get hyper like childen over sugar rushes from announcesments and trailers...but I seriously think that given the companies past an 8.5 is everybit as possible as a Killzone 2 8.0-8.5

Thoughts?

It might score 8.5 or 9.5, I wouldn't know. All we can go by is the hands on and gameplay vids.

Kotor scored 9.1 and was one of the best RPG's of all time.

Just the fact that this game is so deep and expansive it would seriously surprise me if it scored lower then a 9.0

Now just to give you some perspective, Jade Empire scored 9.9 at IGN. And KOTOR 1 scored 9.1 here for xbox

Im pretty sure ME will get at least a 9.0 at GS, it just looks so damn awesome

Uuuuhhhhh, KOTOR was a 9.2 and is the highest rated RPG of all time on gamerankings. Jade Empire was a 8.4 here, but it scored a 9.9 at IGN (not saying it wasn't a flop, just that it is considered a very good game elsewhere). In fact lets bring out the list of the top 10 highest rated RPGs of all time:

Honestly I couldn't care less what it scores. I think it will be a great game. KOTOR scored a 9.1 and is one of the best RPG's on any platform.

All of the footage shown of Mass Effect are of AAA quality, and considering the pedigree of the developer, there is no reason to expect that this game will get anything other than AAA.

Mass Effect will be AAA and you can quote me. If Mass Effect doesnt get AAA I will buy a copy, run it over with my car, and throw a video of it on youtube for all to see. And then I will buy another copy and play it :PSpideR_CentS
