It would be a worse decision to pour more money into it.
You realise nobody is going to buy this, right? Nintendo obviously forked over a considerable sum though. No way EA would have funded development of a title for a console with a relatively tiny install base with the wrong demographic.
This game being available is basically a formality.
Out of all the wiiu launch games that are well received, this one is by far the least appealing imo.
Its a quick buck game at its fullest. They only bring out the last in the series (arguably the worst as well for some) with the worst option at the beginning since the suicide mission good outcome doesn't exist.
Its actually pretty shameful imo. They could have done the trilogy version instead for the launch. It really shouldn't have been that hard really and shouldn't need so much time.
Overall I never liked ea's business practices. Great games usually but definitely shows at times that they were bit by the big company malpractice bug.

keep telling yourself thatYou're right. You post just made me come to the realization that I didn't enjoy my time with the three games on the Xbox.
I must have been tricked.
[QUOTE="freedomfreak"]I just lol'd when they announced this port.balfe1990
It's actually called "Mass Effect 3: SPECIAL EDITION".
lol
Yeah, I played those "unique" ports back when I owned a Wii. The Godfather: Blackhand Edition, for example.keep telling yourself that[QUOTE="funsohng"][QUOTE="balfe1990"]

keep telling yourself thatEh, I played the series off that download service called the ea download manager.
Then I had to switch to that crappy origin one for me3.
Its best on PC but at least you don't have to have to log into more crap :P.
Windows live... Eesh.

What? GFWL has nothing to do with MEOh sry bout that I was just showing disdain for most of those download services haha. Windows live is pretty restrictive and fairly obtrusive.
Actually I guess you wouldn't call gfwl a download service but is an account hooked to purchases that I would otherwise want to avoid.
That's not what it means at all. Even if someone has played the other two games on a different platform, this is still the worst version to get. In fact, it'll be worse. What, you mean to say that it's no good jumping into a game trilogy on the last game? Shocking!

The Wii U ME trilogy. :o :P

Makes no sense that EA wouldn't just release the trilogy package with the Wii U since it just came out also.. It doesn't matter to me at this point however. PC version is by far the best.
Yeah, EA likely figures the sales just won't be there on this late version but I do think there's probably many Nintendo only gamers who never played a ME and will appreciate this one.Oh and, unlike say 360's, not all PC's are created equal and my PC would choke trying to get the title screen up so 360 wins for me. :P
Who in their right mind would start off with ME3 on wii-u($60), when EA released a collection of all three games for the same price else where?
I agree with TC what's the point of releasing this on Wii U if doesn't come with the full triology and then missing DLC on ME3. Might as well just get the triology on PS3/PC/360.
