Can we change N64's Rainbow Road laps?
This is just scandalous...another unfinished game with DLC content? All thanks to M$ for introducing this awful business practice, such a shame for Ninty to follow suit...
@nini200: That's not true. Everyone decries that kind of DLC. But when Nintendo wasn't joining in the online revolution the fans used to enjoy bragging about how all their games were "complete" and Nintendo wouldn't turn to the same "money gouging" practices of the others. Of course, now they are people are creaming their jeans over it.
I didn't say it, Nintendo did. They don't want to release DLC until after the game they are making is actually completed.
However I feel that Mario Kart 8 isn't actually finished as the Battle mode is definitely not up to par but that's my opinion and not fact.
When Nintendo does DLC it shows "they care very much about the fans" but when any other developer does the exact same thing, it's "evil evil greed greed give us the complete game not gimped idiots!!!"
The disproportionate amount of time spent bemoaning Sony, MS and every publisher all of these years, only to now praise Nintendo for the same actions sure says a lot. Mario Kart: Double Standards, lol
I have a theory the Luigi Death Stare was modeled after a real Sheep's face.
I have a theory it was modeled after you. You seem to have an unnecessary bee in your bonnet regarding this company and its fans, you just can't seem to let it go.
@charizard1605: Nothing to say about the post, attack the poster. Unfortunate.
You're right, it was inappropriate, and I deleted it.
Regardless, you would know yourself I have no issues having a nice, open dialog about Nintendo or their numerous faults- I have had multiple with you before, and hell, I have had many with the poster in question here as well. But you know what, go and check that poster's post history. He literally seems to have a vendetta against Nintendo and its fans, hals or more of his posts are some weird sort of calling out of either Nintendo or some broadstrokes tarring together of its fans. He does not actually bring anything positive to conversation- it literally seems that all he exists for is to bitch about one company and these fans on these forums.
The double standard with these type of shit is adorable
>map packs suck and are a crime
>buys tracks for a racing game
>I'm cool with map packs and tracks, it prolongs a competitive game
>gets infuriated by a fighting game expansion for a game they suck too much at to even be bothered by or to be part of the intended audience.
Regardless Mario Kart 8 got meh really quick, fun little game, but ultimately dull for any extensive play time.
There's nothing wrong with dlc when it's done right
Thats the distinction. There are no double standards
If they do add DLC, I hope it is free. Having to pay more money in addition to the full retail price is obnoxious. At least Mario Golf 3DS had a lower starting price point to make the presence of paid DLC not so big a deal.

Yeah but the go to example for Sheep hating DLC was Halo/COD map packs. Not too dissimilar to a track pack, really?
The best DLC is mini or full fledged expansions.
@locopatho: you know I keep hearing "sheep said this" or "sheep said that" as responses to this type of thing (as if one or two posts are representing an entire fanbase) but rarely do people ever show me the receipts
