Best looking WiiU game!

It really is looking to be a great game.

I keep going back and forth on Nintendo. I mean, the games are fun. Yet, they're the same damned dozen or so games... It's one thing to milk childhood nostalgia, but at this point this stuff's so old it's milking your parent's nostalgia.

I won't lie those screens are attractive. The WiiU might just end up pulling ahead of the xbone if this keeps up.

It definitly will. You probably won't see as much Aliasing when in motion like we see in those screens, not to mention this runs at 60fps.

Mario kart always feels unbalanced when it comes to the gameplay.I felt modnation racers did a better job at balacening.

@wg_mcfartypants: I don't think it's necessarily milking the franchises -- people are still pumped for the Infamous and Halo's of the gaming world, it's just that they don't launch new IP.

Looks insane! Last time I was this excited about Mario Kart was with the 64 one. It's gonna be a good opportunity to learn the Koopalings names. :P haha

Agree, but then i could say the same about most racers in general. Mario Kart is just not made with balance in mind or competitive gameplay. Just get to the finish type of game. Because even w/o the items the characters and karts aren't beyond balance. It's just mean for fun though, but to me that kills the fun a bit having the whole game revolve around the items.

This is my most anticipated game of 2014. And I own a high end PC, PS4 and Xbox One. My second most anticipated game is a new copy of Windjammers for Neo Geo CD that I bought on eBay. It should get here any day now....

It's just terrible when developers make sequels to successful, bestselling games. It's almost like they're responding to consumers by giving them the games they want.

Good thing Sony's first party studio never develops sequels.

All-Stars Racing Transformed was an amazing game. MK8 doesn't look any better than it.

I just hope they get the physics right in this one, and have a decent single-player mode (unlike Mario Kart 7's lackluster single-player content)

Nintendo has more worthwhile games that have a very high chance of being good, because they all come from franchises with a high standard of quality.

Definitely man, how dare they make one Mario Kart game per platform! Straight up milking I tell ya. Eight games over the course of 22 years, it's unbelievable. It's as if they assume that extremely strong sales for the series means that people want more. Bad Nintendo. BAD.

Looks good and a definite buy... however.. a little over the top with the sideways spinning wheel crap and mega drift mechanics... I hope that Nintendo does the original MK some justice someday. With that being said... I say this again. Definite buy.
