Days or months would be different, but 4 hours in a single day is nothing. The dude could have had a day off and this still wouldn't have heavily impacted it.

Haha I did something like this in Dayz Origins once (a varient of the Dayz mod), I swam to an Island known to have good stuff though, I taped a battery to my keyboard to hold down the W key, took about two hours.

He streamed this journey LIVE on Twitch and I had all my friends over and we watched it all go down with anticipation and popcorn. It was the best 4 hours of our lives.

Ehh, if you live a normal life you should sleep 8 hours a day, work 8 hours a day that's taking 16 hours of your day every day. Maybe you like to sleep for 10 hours and maybe you work 12 hours a day. Only leaves you 2-8 hours a day for dinner, gym, hobbies, friends, social life, family etc.

Spending 4 hours on doing something that can be compared to watching grass grow or paint dry is one of the most retarded acts I've ever come across. And I've seen a lot on the world wide web.

4 hours is not a crazy amount of time to game (i'd say it' right on the cusp though). However it's pretty crazy for something that monotonous. I'm not familiar with this, how did he even know there was an "island" that would take 4 hours to get to?. If it was something that people were discussing about the game... I guess somebody had to try it.

It does seem silly, but I'm sure people have done far worse (and while I've never done 4 hours of straight monotony like that, I'm sure I've piled thousands of wasted hours elsewhere - including many of monotonus or repetitive in-game tasks).

pc exclusives are so boring and devoid of anything fun this is pretty much what pc gamers resort to for kicks.
