It looks a little rough around the edges (and derivative), but I actually think the world, the classic Soul Reaver universe shifting, and the animalistic like traversal of the world actually make it look pretty freaking awesome. Shame it was never polished and released.

Man, how has it seemed so hard to get an actual proper sequel to Legacy of Kain? Like, the original was SO GOOD and the sequels have been mostly inarticulate.

I could never got into this franchise, i thought the first game was boring...nevertheless i admit i didn't put much effort nor interest on the first place, however i have a few friends who loved it to death so i reckon it was good, its a shame they didn't continue because from what i know, the story was left unfinished and that always sucks.

Maybe it'll be revived by Nintendo. That's a strong maybe seeing as how there's actual nudity in this one.
