oh shit. considering how much work this would have been for unity i imagine there has to be at least 40 ubisoft studios dedicated to making female animations and dresses.

Hopefully there is some hot Assasincent going on.

I literally cannot give any fuks about AC any more, plus i avoid ubisoft games like a plague.

After the backlash from AC Unity, that does not surprise me at all. It would surprise me more if they had stuck to just male characters.

They already have Liberation and Chine featuring females, but this is nice. Always wanted them.

But what if there is no swimsuit dlc?

Their PC ports suck. Stuttering mess.

Now they have 4 studios doing this AC game, that's 4 times the glitches and bugs.

Their PC ports suck, but are even worse on consoles. More so after the Unity patches and the fact you can't fix the console issues yourself. Farcry, WatchDogs, and AC are pretty much seen as unanimously better on PC.

In relation to Ubisofts multiplat sales, This goes to show:

• PC gamers won't willingly buy broken games as much as Console gamers will. All these games were more broken and stayed that way on consoles. This also brings me to:
• Consoles are lacking in games this gen. They're going to flock to big releases, broken or not. PC has a rather ludicrous library this gen, so you won't see that kind of mob mentality.

Seems like an easy thing to put into the game.

That will be another 8 million easy sales, no doubt.

Excited to see UBIsoft sell a brother/sister tandem as the "all new redesigned features!"

More Assassin's Creed? While a Bro-Sis combo could make it a bit more interesting, unless the gameplay and mission types change up some, I think I'll pass on this one.

Either way, this is just another annual cookie cutter AC game I won't be buying.

Female assassin required too much work and that's why there's only 2 characters.

The lack of female assassins in Unity was definitely overblown by the media. However, I do blame Ubisoft more for that reaction. Instead of just telling everybody that they were playing Arno, they also felt the need to say that a female design would require double the work, and that was total bs.

Can't wait for the underwear DLC

I'm still amazed that Assassin's Creed is still a thing and still financially viable for Ubisoft.

The male character is quite literally Arno mixed with the Black Flag protagonist, i.e. another rebellious trickster with an attitude, whereas the female character is a more refined and professional assassin. They could have just let us play as the female character only instead of this half-assed dual protagonist thing--it's very obvious the story will focus on the male protagonist anyway--but of course the crowd that keeps buying these fucking games wouldn't want a new AC game without a main character that's the same as all the other ones.

So they finally made a female model. 10/10, GOTY, awesome game. No f*ck that, game still shit and that's the review 8 or whatever months before release.
