Poll Last gen console you had the most fun with? (88 votes)
For me it has to be the WII, no matter the flaws it had, namely weak hardware a d shovelware, it still offered the most fun games.

Wii had a couple of great exclusive, but PS3 still takes the cake. It thad the most and best exclusives + multiplats + free online.
360 was mediocre at best and is dead and abandoned now.
Meanwhile one of the best JRPG's ever still has to release on PS3 exclusively, Persona 5.
Overall though I enjoyed the PC the most.
Xbox 360 at first I almost felt sorry for the PS3 It was getting smashed that badly, but at the end the PS3 took the cake IMO.
No contest ps3. I've sunk more game time, and had the best gaming experiences on it than any other console I've owned, going back to the Atari 2600.
I have to give the 360 credit. I wrote it off due to constant hardware problems, but it was a ton of fun when I had it. The Wii comes in a close second. It had lots of great exclusives to keep me busy.
360. Was my first bought last gen. From Kameo to Halo 4 I had the most fun over the years with it. If I had this PC then, it would probably been PC, but I am thankful for the multiplats the 360 shared with PC. I wouldn't have been able to play those games at all without it.
I have both PS3 and 360. 360 was fun in the first few years but the last few years was a joke! At the end of the last GenI have to say I have much more fun with PS3 with the amount of support from Sony 1st party studios!
I liked the PS3 and the Xbox 360 about the same, but I give the 360 the edge because the multiplayer experience was vastly superior, and I just used it a lot more for multiplats and various non-gaming purposes. I loved the exclusives on the PS3, and enjoyed the Blu Ray player functionality, though.
The only console I owned last gen was the PS3 because it was the only console worth owning in my book.
Kind of hard for me to decide between the 360 and Wii, since I owned a good chuck of games between each, and both probably had countless hours of playtime.
I've put the Wii not because it was my favourite console, but it was the one which gave me the most fun I cannot tell you how many hours I sunk into playing Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, they really need to bring it back and add alot more to it, all in favour of getting the Wii Motes back instead of the Wii Tablet say Mii!!!!!
360, by far and away. The Wii was alright for like a two year span, and I use the ps3 mainly for ps1 games and for whatever is free on psn.
Easily Xbox 360 followed closely by Wii. Must admit I pretty much neglected my PS3 though. Lately ive been really putting some time into it though.
Have to go with the PS3 or Wii, I'll remember the 360 for having that shyt RROD, went through 3 360's...
Honestly, this is really hard, I had amazing times with all three. I will say this, though, the Wii and Xbox 360 were significantly more social experiences, with an emphasis on local and online multiplayer. PS3 was more for the epic single player experiences.
: Iguess the 360. The PS3 had the best exclusives. But the amount of GTA IV and V, Halo and Call of Duty spent with friends was so much.
None . Last consoles that I enjoyed were back in 90s from SEGA . Also loved my ATARI console , I really miss those days :-(
Xbox 360, it had all the same multiplats as the PS3 got, in many cases long before the PS3 ports, it also had a great controller, the PS3's controller with it's tall convex analog tips and shitty triggers and no party chat really is a downgrade, the superior D-pad does little to make up for it. People act like party chat doesn't make much difference but it really does make a big difference. It helps in friends coordinating just getting into games together much easier and pleasant, on PS3 you only get to hear friends when you're in the game lobby or in the game on the same team. So if you end up on opposite teams or your friend can't join, breaking communication makes getting into the same game/team so much more frustrating. The Xbox 360 made gaming with friends online a breeze. I can join up communicating with friends long before we get into a game together, for instance I can be in the middle of a game needing to get to a good point to stop and I can tell my friend, he may need to do the same, we can shoot the shit until we're ready, and we can even discuss what game we want to play and who else we want to invite into the fold. Not to mention me and my friends can keep our discussions to ourselves, and not have to listen to antagonistic gamers. Since online gaming really blew up this gen on consoles, this was a significant feature, and I gamed with my friends a lot through those years.
360 by far.
I have about 50 360 games, 10 Xbox games, 15 Games on Demand, and about 6 arcade games.
I only have about 15 PS3 games, all exclusive though.
360 was just a better overall console with its controller, interface, seamless social features and switching between apps.
Also had the 360 longer so im sure that contributed to it.
The beginning of the generation it was the 360, then the torch was passed mid-generation to the PS3. The 360 started slow and was a bullet train by the time the PS3 and Wii released a year later. I just kept rocking it out buying game after game only for 360. I have over 100 XBLA games and probably 200 360 games. I liked the 360 so much, I bought two at launch and I maintained 2-3 the entire generation for Halo/GeoW parties, etc. I have over 100,000 Gamerscore. I played the hell out of the machine compared to many Xbox Only gamers in SW back then.
M$ got content and seemingly grew lazy from their good start coasting on multiplatform games. I don't blame them, people didn't seem to notice they were slowing down and like me owned dozens, if not hundreds, of games. Despite getting over 4 RRODs and 1E74 crippling error, I kept on 360 gaming. It was where my games, gamerscore, and comfort zone was.
Then suddenly, Sony was trying really hard, pumping out exclusive games I couldn't ignore (as much as I wanted too considering how much money and time I had put into the 360's gamerscore and ecosystem). Even today, Sony still has been putting out exclusives for the PS3 while my 360s have been idle waiting for exclusive games for a long time. I enjoyed the PS3's Blu-Ray player and a handful of exclusives for those first few years. I LOVED Blu-rays and having friends over to experience 7.1 surround sound in 1080p while many of them weren't even HD yet. It was Sony's big effort the tail end of the generation that won me over, which was odd because at first it was a very one sided, pro Xbox 360 generation for me (with a side of Wii).
Also, PS+ was a huge deal too. I ignored it for a LONG TIME. I was already a longtime Xbox Live paying subscriber since the Xbox days. Sony came along with PS+ and I didn't want to subscribe AGAIN to a new service. I just figured I would skip over it, but game after game kept rolling out. That also pushed me towards the PS3 at the end. It's a great service. M$ followed suit with Games for Gold, which was cool, but unfortunately, the games they have delivered so far 90% I already owned, many of them in fact were given to me on PS+ and I already beat them. I'm happy for the Games for Gold program on 360 though, I'm sure I'll eventually hit the jackpot.
I buy all the machines at launch, so for me when I go shopping it comes down to the games. I don't have to tell myself I'll buy that game later when I can afford a machine. I don't ever wish for a port of that game to my machine, I have them all. If something was a timed exclusive, I bought it on that first machine. I just go to the store and any game I want I buy. I say this because I know some SWarriors that just skipped over games they wanted to try because they didn't have that platform and wrote off good games because of it. Then they did it again. It became a trend for certain users that wanted game after game but just didn't budge.
The Wii I had amazing times with select exclusives, but it didn't compete for my time like the other two machines. I think I have close to 70 Wii games, and my Virtual Console had over $100 in games on that. I filled that sucker to the brim on VC games. I loved Brawl, Kirby, Mario Galaxies, Zelda...a lot of fun on the machine. It just suffered droughts inbetween that I filled up with PS360PC.
I currently have the Wii U, Xbone, and PS4. Right now, Wii U has the lead, but it came out first. We'll see how this year treats me. PS+ vs. Xbox Live Gold, I can say that PS+ is giving PS4 gamers a games and my Xbox Live Gold isn't doing anything for my Xbone. There is no games for Gold on Xbone. I don't even play the Xbone online other than a few weeks of Titanfall (it didn't deliver as I thought it would) and Killer Instinct when they drop a new character. Sadly, the Wii U is played less than that online. Lucky the Wii U has some great SP games.
