Killzone Multiplayer Is Already DEAD.

no excuse for a game as hyped as this. some killer app huh. I guess everyone jumped ship to COD and battlefield. the game didn't even last two weeks LMAO

How many players does it have on at peak times NA? It's not out in Europe yet so that will boost the player count however it wouldn't surprise me if in a few months it was pretty dead.

I just played it 2 days ago and it had around 800 people online. When it launched it only had around 150, 4 days later it had around 300.

I've only been seeing it grow.

How is it dead? Pretty soon it will get chat update, clan update, free maps, and other stuff.

If your talking about players there are 200 us only players right now. This not a good hour, last night there was 1000. With PS4 coming out in EU the numbers will triple since KZ is much more EU based. This why on KZ2 if you look at server list nearly all servers are EU.

Holy crap I thought by dead he meant 10k. I guess I have weird expectations as I mostly game on PC now and I remember that Halo 3 had 100k+ concurrent players 3 years after launch

KZ never had high number of players. A lot of people look at it as a single player game for some strange reason. Also USA is COD land.

With only 1million userbase you dont think people have other things to play through? Ps4 just got released...

How many players does COD have on ps4? I haven't played that shit since Black ops 1 so I honestly don't know and don't plan on buying one until they use a fucking engine from the 21st century.

The game can't compete with a other big shooters. Multiplayer is just too clunky.

Wow only a few hundred people? I was playing bf4 last night on ps4 and there were a ton of 64 player matches going on that we're full or only 1 slot open. Lol 3 or 4 bf4 servers = entire kill zone population?

Well, killzone has always been a mediocre shooter franchise that got propped up because of its exclusivity and technical prowess. There are much better shooters to be played on ps4. This isn't a lose-lose situation like ps3's shooter launch line-up. Resistance and COD3 *starts shuddering*
