Many reviewers give AAA games 9/10 due to hype or wanting to please their readers by telling them what they want to hear. I'm happy that VanOrd was honest and isn't afraid to give big-budget games a 6/10 if he actually felt that they were decent but not good experiences.
Isn't anyone else sick and tired of games like Zelda, Assassin's Creed and Halo getting mountains of hype, tons of 9/10 reviews and then a month later find out that most gamers have gotten bored of them.
