Kenshi, the most innovative game of 2018?

This seems to be a little hit, taking ideas from Mount And Blade and a bunch of other games to create a hybrid of something completely new.

Barely any reviews from critics, no Gamespot threads. Everyone hyping movie garbage where the animation is more important than the Last Of Us 2. What is wrong with the world?

I'm pretty sure I got a copy of that 6 years ago. I never thought it would escape from development hell.

What a piece of garbage. You don't have a child tagging along with Protagonist, insta fail. To top things off, no cinematic walking, no man grunts, no facial animations,no un-skippable cutscenes. How could anyone do without these mandatory gameplay features.

What other game can you start with one arm missing and get beaten unconcious and captured by roaming cannibals and eaten?

This game has some unique roleplay possibilities.

Innovative=/=good

Looks like a PS3 launch game. Also The Last of Us 2 2019 GOTY.

I picked up a copy and spend some time playing around with it. while it's very rough around the edges, it's an interesting take on a very open ended sandbox game.

It's the type of game where you need to be OK with taking your time and slowly grinding up your stats before you can do much more than just survive.

The base building and community building system is really interesting but but I found it to be too buggy and controlling it required way to much micro management to keep everything running smoothly.

If you don't mind this type of early access / rough around the edges types of games it's an interesting title. I felt I got more than my money's worth

It look seriously rough. But I want a tactical gameplay based sword fighting game so much. They just need to work on the core fighting mechanic and improve it about 700% and I am sold.

Been eyeballing this game for years but it seems so incredibly nebulous, I was a little intimidated to try it out haha.

I haven't played it, just seen it was popular and SsethTzeentach reviewed it, and he's the biggest gaming expert going.

God of War destroys this and the critics and gamers agree.
